Dok sunce prži i padaju temperaturni rekordi u godini, turiste koji dođu poslije 11 sati u razgledavanje centra Splita možemo nazvati hrabrima. Riva je prazna, štekati puniji, dok su Voćni i Narodni trg, Peristil i Podrumi pravi "mali osinjak".

Umjesto osvježenja u moru, ima onih koji se odluče na walking tour, ručak pod tendama restorana ili se vodom i sladoledom okrepljuju u istraživanju grada. Ima i onih koji u hladu samo žele ostaviti stvari i malo se odmoriti. Takvi, nažalost, nisu baš bili voljni za razgovor. No zato jest jedno nasmijano društvo koje je stiglo iz Australije u Split. I to koliko društvo. Kad smo ih vidjeli nasmijane Ispod ure, morali smo ih fotografirati i pitati o njihovu dojmu za vrijeme boravka u Splitu.

Četiri generacije zajedno u Splitu

S nama je u ime grupe od trinaest Australaca razgovarala Zdenka Kuk iz Melbournea. Kaže nam kako su svi jedna velika obitelj. Četiri generacije smo snimili: njezina majka, ona, djeca i unuci. Rodom su iz općine Cerna kod Vinkovaca, a Zdenkina je majka još kao dijete otišla iz Hrvatske.

– Tu smo dva i pol tjedna. Bili smo u Dubrovniku, idemo uz obalu do Rovinja i Pule. Bit ćemo ovdje tjedan dana, dva dana smo tu. Lijepo nam je, osim visokih temperatura koje nas limitiraju u aktivnosti – rekla nam je Zdenka Kuk, koja nas je pozdravila na hrvatskom i podijelila svoje znanje hrvatskog jezika.

Hrana, pivo i smještaj plus, gužve i taksi minus

Tri su im stvari najbolje u Splitu: limun-pivo, "regular" pivo, palac Grgura Ninskog i... Uz malo smijeha, obitelj se dogovorila da bude plivanje. Nisu htjeli biti prosti, kažu nam. Međutim, nije sve idealno:

– Promet, dostupnost centru grada ili, kako biste vi rekli, "gužva" – kaže nam Zdenka, što je nasmijalo i nas i ostatak obitelji.

Rekli su nam kako su taksiji skupi i "kad ih se pita za cijenu, to nije cijena koju na kraju dobiješ":

– Uzeli smo privatni bus, za nas je dobro. Taksiji mogu biti vrlo skupi, mislim da iskorištavaju turiste i sezonu – govori nam Zdenka.

Smještajem su prezadovoljni. Odsjeli su u hotelu "Radisson blu" i "ne mogu ih dovoljno nahvaliti".

– Jako su dragi prema nama. Ne mogu se sjetiti cijene, rezervirali smo prije šest mjeseci – kaže nam Zdenka, uz napomenu kako je sama sve platila pa pretpostavljamo kako nije htjela otkriti iznos ostatku obitelji.

– Volimo "pitu", volimo "mezu", volimo "ćevape" – za kraj nam je poručila ova vesela grupa, koja nam kaže kako je nalik hrani koju jedu kod kuće jer su hrvatskog podrijetla.

Dok sunce prži i padaju temperaturni rekordi u godini, turiste koji dođu poslije 11 sati u razgledavanje centra Splita možemo nazvati hrabrima. Riva je prazna, štekati puniji, dok su Voćni i Narodni trg, Peristil i Podrumi pravi "mali osinjak".

Umjesto osvježenja u moru, ima onih koji se odluče na walking tour, ručak pod tendama restorana ili se vodom i sladoledom okrepljuju u istraživanju grada. Ima i onih koji u hladu samo žele ostaviti stvari i malo se odmoriti. Takvi, nažalost, nisu baš bili voljni za razgovor. No zato jest jedno nasmijano društvo koje je stiglo iz Australije u Split. I to koliko društvo. Kad smo ih vidjeli nasmijane Ispod ure, morali smo ih fotografirati i pitati o njihovu dojmu za vrijeme boravka u Splitu.

Četiri generacije zajedno u Splitu

S nama je u ime grupe od trinaest Australaca razgovarala Zdenka Kuk iz Melbournea. Kaže nam kako su svi jedna velika obitelj. Četiri generacije smo snimili: njezina majka, ona, djeca i unuci. Rodom su iz općine Cerna kod Vinkovaca, a Zdenkina je majka još kao dijete otišla iz Hrvatske.

– Tu smo dva i pol tjedna. Bili smo u Dubrovniku, idemo uz obalu do Rovinja i Pule. Bit ćemo ovdje tjedan dana, dva dana smo tu. Lijepo nam je, osim visokih temperatura koje nas limitiraju u aktivnosti – rekla nam je Zdenka Kuk, koja nas je pozdravila na hrvatskom i podijelila svoje znanje hrvatskog jezika.

Hrana, pivo i smještaj plus, gužve i taksi minus

Tri su im stvari najbolje u Splitu: limun-pivo, "regular" pivo, palac Grgura Ninskog i... Uz malo smijeha, obitelj se dogovorila da bude plivanje. Nisu htjeli biti prosti, kažu nam. Međutim, nije sve idealno:

– Promet, dostupnost centru grada ili, kako biste vi rekli, "gužva" – kaže nam Zdenka, što je nasmijalo i nas i ostatak obitelji.

Rekli su nam kako su taksiji skupi i "kad ih se pita za cijenu, to nije cijena koju na kraju dobiješ":

– Uzeli smo privatni bus, za nas je dobro. Taksiji mogu biti vrlo skupi, mislim da iskorištavaju turiste i sezonu – govori nam Zdenka.

Smještajem su prezadovoljni. Odsjeli su u hotelu "Radisson blu" i "ne mogu ih dovoljno nahvaliti".

– Jako su dragi prema nama. Ne mogu se sjetiti cijene, rezervirali smo prije šest mjeseci – kaže nam Zdenka, uz napomenu kako je sama sve platila pa pretpostavljamo kako nije htjela otkriti iznos ostatku obitelji.

– Volimo "pitu", volimo "mezu", volimo "ćevape" – za kraj nam je poručila ova vesela grupa, koja nam kaže kako je nalik hrani koju jedu kod kuće jer su hrvatskog podrijetla.
