U kontekstu nove Netflixove serije ne spominje se rekordna gledanost jedne "Igre lignje" ili "Bridgertona", ali ona je u kratkom roku postala veoma tražena i popularna. Od 14. do 20. veljače serija je zabilježila 196 milijuna odgledanih sati. Gledanost je velika i u Hrvatskoj, ali to ne treba čuditi.

Kod nas posljednjih desetak godina poslovično dobro prolaze priče o muljatori(ca)ma kao što su "Američki varalice", "Jako mi je stalo" i "Kraljice kupona", s posebnim naglaskom na "Vuka s Wall Streeta" i "Prevarantice s Wall Streeta". A "Inventing Anna" je još jedna takva priča, druga uzastopna na Netflixu nakon friškog dokumentarca "Varalica s Tindera".

Prevarantica iz naslova je Anna "Delvey" Sorokin (glumi je zvijezda "Ozarka" Julia Garner), koja je između 2013. i 2017. prevarila ljude za tisuće i za tisuće dolara nakon što se predstavljala kao njemačka nasljednica kako bi se infiltrirala u visoko društvo Manhattana, nosila dizajnerske krpice, uživala u luksuznim hotelima, letjela privatnim zrakoplovima itd.

Priča djevojke ruskog porijekla iz ruralne Njemačke objavljena je u "New York Magazineu" iz pera novinarke Jessice Pressler, a na Netflix ju je prenijela kreatorica "Bridgertona" Shonda Rimes.

"Cijela ova priča je potpuno istinita, izuzev dijelova koji su totalno izmišljeni", gledatelj je obaviješten na početku. Tih dijelova, čini se, ima podosta.

"Projekt Anna" želi cupkati na visokim potpeticama "Seksa i grada", "Emily u Parizu" i "Vrag nosi Pradu", samo s prevaranticom u centru priče koja ima jednak osjećaj za modu, voli biti na "fensi šmensi" mjestima, šopingirati i peglati kartice ("Toliko dućana, tako malo vremena"), stoga nije čudno da režiju nekoliko epizoda potpisuje David Frenkel, redatelj potonjeg filma.

Na tom tragu serija uzima slobodu da orkestrira neke situacije iz romantične komedije, tipa da trudnoj novinarki Vivian Kent (Anna Chlumsky; "Moja djevojka", "U banani"), kao zamjeni za Pressler, pukne vodenjak baš kad završava tekst.

Vivian postaje podjednako glavni lik serije kao i Anna, možda i glavniji, što nije najspretnije izvedeno pa u trenucima kad želimo gledati prevarantičino muljanje iz polusubjektivne perspektive gledamo novinarkino istraživanje njezine priče.

Pritom nijedna od ove dvije žene ne djeluje kao ljudsko biće, već lik iz prosječne serije. Anna je takva možda samo u sceni kad krene silaznom putanjom i posegne za ostavljenom vrećicom pomfrita u podzemnoj.

Likove ne uspijevamo upoznati tijekom devet epizoda koje ne traju manje od 59 minuta, a dosežu i predugih 80, pretačući priču iz šupljeg u (p)razno, dakle govorimo o ukupno deset sati materijala, što je tri i pol puta duže od "The Wolf Of Wall Street" (!).

Pitanje "Tko si ti, jebemu?", postavljeno za Annu, ostaje bez odgovora, neovisno o flešbekovima na imigrantsko djetinjstvo s oce, pri čemu jedan može biti štosan domaćim gledateljima koji znaju vino pomiješati s colom (bambus).

Manjak fokusa, plošna karakterizacija i razvučenost samo su neki od problema serije koja je načelno pitka, ali i plitka, prisvajajući tabloidan pristup glavnom liku i njezinom (ne)djelu.

Od stvarnog ljudskog bića s manama serija pretvara Annu u "meme" senzaciju, dopušta joj da sebe naziva "ikonom" i "legendom" te glamurizira njezinu priču bez nekakvog crnohumornog odmaka i satirične oštrice spram kapitalističkog ekscesa kakvom je Scorsese zascijecao "Vuka s Wall Streeta".

Serija kao da želi da se navija za glavni ženski lik, posebice u scenama kad Anna zahtijeva "stylish" odjeću za suđenje i u njoj defilira pred novinarima. "Možda naučite nešto", poručuje ona gledatelji(ca)ma.

U kontekstu nove Netflixove serije ne spominje se rekordna gledanost jedne "Igre lignje" ili "Bridgertona", ali ona je u kratkom roku postala veoma tražena i popularna. Od 14. do 20. veljače serija je zabilježila 196 milijuna odgledanih sati. Gledanost je velika i u Hrvatskoj, ali to ne treba čuditi.

Kod nas posljednjih desetak godina poslovično dobro prolaze priče o muljatori(ca)ma kao što su "Američki varalice", "Jako mi je stalo" i "Kraljice kupona", s posebnim naglaskom na "Vuka s Wall Streeta" i "Prevarantice s Wall Streeta". A "Inventing Anna" je još jedna takva priča, druga uzastopna na Netflixu nakon friškog dokumentarca "Varalica s Tindera".

Prevarantica iz naslova je Anna "Delvey" Sorokin (glumi je zvijezda "Ozarka" Julia Garner), koja je između 2013. i 2017. prevarila ljude za tisuće i za tisuće dolara nakon što se predstavljala kao njemačka nasljednica kako bi se infiltrirala u visoko društvo Manhattana, nosila dizajnerske krpice, uživala u luksuznim hotelima, letjela privatnim zrakoplovima itd.

Priča djevojke ruskog porijekla iz ruralne Njemačke objavljena je u "New York Magazineu" iz pera novinarke Jessice Pressler, a na Netflix ju je prenijela kreatorica "Bridgertona" Shonda Rimes.

"Cijela ova priča je potpuno istinita, izuzev dijelova koji su totalno izmišljeni", gledatelj je obaviješten na početku. Tih dijelova, čini se, ima podosta.

"Projekt Anna" želi cupkati na visokim potpeticama "Seksa i grada", "Emily u Parizu" i "Vrag nosi Pradu", samo s prevaranticom u centru priče koja ima jednak osjećaj za modu, voli biti na "fensi šmensi" mjestima, šopingirati i peglati kartice ("Toliko dućana, tako malo vremena"), stoga nije čudno da režiju nekoliko epizoda potpisuje David Frenkel, redatelj potonjeg filma.

Na tom tragu serija uzima slobodu da orkestrira neke situacije iz romantične komedije, tipa da trudnoj novinarki Vivian Kent (Anna Chlumsky; "Moja djevojka", "U banani"), kao zamjeni za Pressler, pukne vodenjak baš kad završava tekst.

Vivian postaje podjednako glavni lik serije kao i Anna, možda i glavniji, što nije najspretnije izvedeno pa u trenucima kad želimo gledati prevarantičino muljanje iz polusubjektivne perspektive gledamo novinarkino istraživanje njezine priče.

Pritom nijedna od ove dvije žene ne djeluje kao ljudsko biće, već lik iz prosječne serije. Anna je takva možda samo u sceni kad krene silaznom putanjom i posegne za ostavljenom vrećicom pomfrita u podzemnoj.

Likove ne uspijevamo upoznati tijekom devet epizoda koje ne traju manje od 59 minuta, a dosežu i predugih 80, pretačući priču iz šupljeg u (p)razno, dakle govorimo o ukupno deset sati materijala, što je tri i pol puta duže od "The Wolf Of Wall Street" (!).

Pitanje "Tko si ti, jebemu?", postavljeno za Annu, ostaje bez odgovora, neovisno o flešbekovima na imigrantsko djetinjstvo s oce, pri čemu jedan može biti štosan domaćim gledateljima koji znaju vino pomiješati s colom (bambus).

Manjak fokusa, plošna karakterizacija i razvučenost samo su neki od problema serije koja je načelno pitka, ali i plitka, prisvajajući tabloidan pristup glavnom liku i njezinom (ne)djelu.

Od stvarnog ljudskog bića s manama serija pretvara Annu u "meme" senzaciju, dopušta joj da sebe naziva "ikonom" i "legendom" te glamurizira njezinu priču bez nekakvog crnohumornog odmaka i satirične oštrice spram kapitalističkog ekscesa kakvom je Scorsese zascijecao "Vuka s Wall Streeta".

Serija kao da želi da se navija za glavni ženski lik, posebice u scenama kad Anna zahtijeva "stylish" odjeću za suđenje i u njoj defilira pred novinarima. "Možda naučite nešto", poručuje ona gledatelji(ca)ma.
