Indija, uz Kinu trenutačno najveći kupac ruske nafte, prestala je kupovati rusku premium sirovu naftu (ESPO) prije gotovo dva mjeseca. Prije ruskog rata u Ukrajini, Indija je rijetko kupovala rusku naftu, no nakon što je Moskva ostala bez europskih kupaca zbog sankcija koje je Zapad nametnuo Moskvi kao odgovor na invaziju na Ukrajinu, Kremlj je pojačao trgovinu s Kinom, Indijom i Turskom, nudeći im goleme popuste. Indija, na čelu s premijerom Narendrom Modijem, bila je glavni kupac ovog tipa ruske nafte, prenosi Jutarnji list. 

Zamjenik ruskog premijera Aleksander Novak rekao je u prosincu da je Indija postala glavni kupac ruske nafte, a izvoz u tu zemlju je porastao za oko 40 posto. Privatne indijske rafinerije u proljeće prošle godine borile su s neovisnim kompanijama u Kini tijekom jagme za ESPO sirovu naftu, što je konstantno povećavalo njezinu cijenu, kako je izvještavao Reuters.

Slamka spasa

No, ruski dnevnik Kommersant javio je u petak da Indija - najveći kupac pomorskih isporuka ruske nafte - odbija kupovati rusku naftu vrhunske kvalitete ESPO, koja ima nizak sadržaj sumpora - manje od 0,6 posto - već otprilike dva mjeseca. Uvoz je zaustavljen u siječnju i veljači, navodi Kommersant, pozivajući se na podatke platforme za pribavljanje i analizu podataka o globalnoj trgovini Kpler.

Ukupno je uvoz ruske nafte u Indiju pao za 420.000 barela nafte na dan, na ukupno 1,2 milijuna barela dnevno, javlja Business Insider.

Ovaj se potez tumači kao udarac Moskvi, koja ovisi o svom izvozu nafte i energetskoj industriji uopće jer oni čine oko 30 posto proračunskih prihoda zemlje i financiraju ruski rat u Ukrajini. Rusija je treći najveći svjetski proizvođač nafte, s više od 12 posto globalne proizvodnje sirove nafte, prema njemačkoj online platformi specijaliziranoj za prikupljanje i obradu podataka Statista, a energetska industrija smatra se ključnom slamkom spasa za gospodarstvo ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina, podsjeća Newsweek.

Kada je američki predsjednik Joe Biden najavio zabranu uvoza ruske nafte u ožujku 2022. godine, nekoliko tjedana nakon početka ruske invazije, rekao je da će taj potez biti usmjeren upravo na "glavnu arteriju" ruskog gospodarstva. Skupina G7, Europska unija i Australija tada su nametnule ograničenje cijena ruske nafte koje se prevozi morskim putem odlukom da se ona može prodavati trećim zemljama korištenjem tankera zemalja G7 i EU-a, njihovih osiguravateljskih tvrtki i kreditnih institucija, samo ako se nafta prodaje ispod cijene od 60 dolara po barelu.

Indija je također smanjila uvoz nafte Sokol, još jedne premium klase ruske nafte, djelomično zbog poteškoća s plaćanjem. Kommersant kao razlog tome ističe neslaganja oko plaćanja nafte i zabrinutost indijskih kupaca nakon pooštravanja u vezi gornje granice cijene ruske nafte.

Neslaganje u vezi plaćanja

Milijarde dolara ruske dobiti od prodaje nafte zapele su u indijskim bankama zbog ograničenja Indijske središnje banke (Reserve Bank of India - RBI), koja ruskim tvrtkama onemogućuje transfer rupija pohranjenih na bankovnim računima u Indiji u Rusiju i njihovu konverziju u rublje. To je osujetilo Putinove pokušaje da dedolarizira bilateralnu trgovinu s Indijom.

U utorak je Amos Hochstein, Bidenov savjetnik za energiju i globalnu infrastrukturu, rekao za agenciju Reuters da SAD pokušavaju pomoći Indiji da pregovara o nižim cijenama ruske nafte nakon što je Washington uveo dodatne sankcije tankerima koji prevoze gorivo iznad zapadnih cjenovnih ograničenja.

"Na kraju krajeva, moj cilj nije ukloniti je s tržišta, ne želim ukloniti ove tankere, ukloniti sirovu naftu, proizvod, s tržišta", rekao je Hochstein. "Pokušavam natjerati Indijce da ispregovaraju bolje cijene tjerajući tankere da plove negdje drugdje. Mislim da Indijci razumiju što pokušavamo učiniti", zaključio je.

Indija, uz Kinu trenutačno najveći kupac ruske nafte, prestala je kupovati rusku premium sirovu naftu (ESPO) prije gotovo dva mjeseca. Prije ruskog rata u Ukrajini, Indija je rijetko kupovala rusku naftu, no nakon što je Moskva ostala bez europskih kupaca zbog sankcija koje je Zapad nametnuo Moskvi kao odgovor na invaziju na Ukrajinu, Kremlj je pojačao trgovinu s Kinom, Indijom i Turskom, nudeći im goleme popuste. Zamjenik ruskog premijera Aleksander Novak rekao je u prosincu da je Indija postala glavni kupac ruske nafte, a izvoz u tu zemlju je porastao za oko 40 posto. Privatne indijske rafinerije u proljeće prošle godine borile su s neovisnim kompanijama u Kini tijekom jagme za ESPO sirovu naftu, što je konstantno povećavalo njezinu cijenu, kako je izvještavao Reuters.

No, ruski dnevnik Kommersant javio je u petak da Indija - najveći kupac pomorskih isporuka ruske nafte - odbija kupovati rusku naftu vrhunske kvalitete ESPO, koja ima nizak sadržaj sumpora - manje od 0,6 posto - već otprilike dva mjeseca. Uvoz je zaustavljen u siječnju i veljači, navodi Kommersant, pozivajući se na podatke platforme za pribavljanje i analizu podataka o globalnoj trgovini Kpler.

Ukupno je uvoz ruske nafte u Indiju pao za 420.000 barela nafte na dan, na ukupno 1,2 milijuna barela dnevno, javlja Business Insider.

Ovaj se potez tumači kao udarac Moskvi, koja ovisi o svom izvozu nafte i energetskoj industriji uopće jer oni čine oko 30 posto proračunskih prihoda zemlje i financiraju ruski rat u Ukrajini. Rusija je treći najveći svjetski proizvođač nafte, s više od 12 posto globalne proizvodnje sirove nafte, prema njemačkoj online platformi specijaliziranoj za prikupljanje i obradu podataka Statista, a energetska industrija smatra se ključnom slamkom spasa za gospodarstvo ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina, podsjeća Newsweek.

Kada je američki predsjednik Joe Biden najavio zabranu uvoza ruske nafte u ožujku 2022. godine, nekoliko tjedana nakon početka ruske invazije, rekao je da će taj potez biti usmjeren upravo na "glavnu arteriju" ruskog gospodarstva. Skupina G7, Europska unija i Australija tada su nametnule ograničenje cijena ruske nafte koje se prevozi morskim putem odlukom da se ona može prodavati trećim zemljama korištenjem tankera zemalja G7 i EU-a, njihovih osiguravateljskih tvrtki i kreditnih institucija, samo ako se nafta prodaje ispod cijene od 60 dolara po barelu.

Indija je također smanjila uvoz nafte Sokol, još jedne premium klase ruske nafte, djelomično zbog poteškoća s plaćanjem. Kommersant kao razlog tome ističe neslaganja oko plaćanja nafte i zabrinutost indijskih kupaca nakon pooštravanja u vezi gornje granice cijene ruske nafte.

Neslaganje u vezi plaćanja

Milijarde dolara ruske dobiti od prodaje nafte zapele su u indijskim bankama zbog ograničenja Indijske središnje banke (Reserve Bank of India - RBI), koja ruskim tvrtkama onemogućuje transfer rupija pohranjenih na bankovnim računima u Indiji u Rusiju i njihovu konverziju u rublje. To je osujetilo Putinove pokušaje da dedolarizira bilateralnu trgovinu s Indijom.

U utorak je Amos Hochstein, Bidenov savjetnik za energiju i globalnu infrastrukturu, rekao za agenciju Reuters da SAD pokušavaju pomoći Indiji da pregovara o nižim cijenama ruske nafte nakon što je Washington uveo dodatne sankcije tankerima koji prevoze gorivo iznad zapadnih cjenovnih ograničenja.

"Na kraju krajeva, moj cilj nije ukloniti je s tržišta, ne želim ukloniti ove tankere, ukloniti sirovu naftu, proizvod, s tržišta", rekao je Hochstein. "Pokušavam natjerati Indijce da ispregovaraju bolje cijene tjerajući tankere da plove negdje drugdje. Mislim da Indijci razumiju što pokušavamo učiniti", zaključio je.
