     Nijemci su navodno svojedobno htjeli srušiti Slobodana Miloševića jer nije šefa bosanskih Srba Radovana Karadžića uspio uvjeriti da prihvati mirovni plan Kontaktne skupine za BiH, ali je tadašnji ruski predsjednik Boris Jeljcin to uspio spriječiti. Štoviše, predložio je da se do mira u BiH pokuša doći uz pomoć čarobnog eliksira – ruske votke!

     Taj detalj iz devedesetih i povijesti sukoba u BiH otkivaju deklasificirani razgovori između Borisa Jeljcina i američkog predsjednika Billa Clintona iz 1994. godine, objavljeni na web stranici clinton.presidentiallibraries.us. Jeljcin i Clinton su se te godine taman bili dogovorili o mirovnoj konferenciji koju bi organizirale SAD, Rusija, Njemačka i Francuska, nakon čega bi zaraćene strane u BiH pozvali da uz podršku Srbije i Hrvatske potpišu mir. Taj plan Kontaktne skupine je, međutim, propao jer su ga odbili Radovan Karadžić i Ratko Mladić, tadašnji načelnik Glavnog štaba vojske bosanskih Srba.

    Jeljcin je u naknadnom razgovoru s Clintonom u Bijeloj kući branio Slobodana Miloševića od odgovornosti za propast mirovnog plana i uporno tvrdio da je za sve odgovoran isključivo Karadžić. Također je obećavao Clintonu da će ruski dužnosnici utjecati na BiH Srbe da ne poduzimaju nikakve radikalnije akcije, „iako su Muslimani prvi počeli".

    Prema deklasificiranom transkriptu njihovih razgovora, Clinton je zahvalio Jeljcinu što je preko Miloševića uspio izolirati Karadžića i Mladića nakon što su odbili mirovni plan. Jeljcin je na to izrazio nadu da će i Helmut Kohl, tadašnji njemački kancelar, konačno povjerovati da je Milošević bio iskren u obećanju kako će izolirati lidere bosanskih Srba, jer je zbog istih i njihove destrukcije Njemačka bila navodno poželjela da se Miloševića smijeni.

      Clinton je u jednom trenutku upitao Jeljcina smatra li da će Milošević Karadžića i Mladića uspjeti uvjeriti da prihvate plan Kontaktne skupine. Jeljcin mu je, kao pravi patron srpskog predsjednika, odgovorio da je Milošević pod velikim pritiskom, a da je Karadžić "čovjek veoma opasnih namjera". Povjerio se Clintonu da će Ratka Mladića pokušati privoljeti da uskoro prihvati mir uz pomoć najbolje ruske votke koju su na razgovore u Banja Luku odnijeli tadašnji ruski ministar vanjskih poslova Andrej Kozirev i ministar obrane general Pavel Gračev, Jeljcinov blizak prijatelj. Kao okorjela ispičutura, Jeljcin je očito smatrao da je votka u stanju pomoći i tamo gdje ništa drugo više ne pomaže: kako u fingiranju mirovnih napora, tako i u diplomatskim lažima.

     "Milošević je pod velikim pritiskom. Treba ga ohrabriti kako bi mogao ojačati svoju poziciju u parlamentu u odnosu na one lude radikale. Vjerujem u Miloševića, a i Mladića smo skoro psihološki pridobili, Gračev je djelovao na njega. Imali su dugu noć s puno votke, dobro su razgovarali", povjerio je Clintonu Boris Jeljcin.

    Na ovo je Clinton dobrohotno odgovorio da bi se u tom slučaju moglo razmišljati i o skorom slabljenju sankcija protiv SR Jugoslavije. "Znam da je sve ovo teško za njega (Miloševića), ali cijela regija kipti od sumnji. Ako ga možemo uvjeriti da prizna granice (Hrvatske i BiH), mogli bi učiniti puno više po pitanju sankcija. To će izolirati agresivce", rekao je Clinton. On i Jeljcin još su razgovarali i o odgodi skidanja embarga na oružje Bošnjacima, prilikom čega se Clinton požalio da su Velika Britanija, Kanada i Francuska bile protiv izvođenja zračnih udara na srpske položaje u Bosni.

      Bez snažnih zračnih udara, i to onih po Miloševićevoj Srbiji, regija na kraju ipak nije dočekala kraj velikosrpskih ratova devedesetih. Slobodan Milošević, kao njihov vrhovni gospodar, manipulirao je dugo uz pomoć ruskih saveznika svojom ulogom lažnog mirotvorca, vadeći se pred svijetom na radikalizam svojih pijuna i ubojica, kad god bi mu to osobno odgovaralo.

     Nijemci su navodno svojedobno htjeli srušiti Slobodana Miloševića jer nije šefa bosanskih Srba Radovana Karadžića uspio uvjeriti da prihvati mirovni plan Kontaktne skupine za BiH, ali je tadašnji ruski predsjednik Boris Jeljcin to uspio spriječiti. Štoviše, predložio je da se do mira u BiH pokuša doći uz pomoć čarobnog eliksira – ruske votke!

     Taj detalj iz devedesetih i povijesti sukoba u BiH otkivaju deklasificirani razgovori između Borisa Jeljcina i američkog predsjednika Billa Clintona iz 1994. godine, objavljeni na web stranici clinton.presidentiallibraries.us. Jeljcin i Clinton su se te godine taman bili dogovorili o mirovnoj konferenciji koju bi organizirale SAD, Rusija, Njemačka i Francuska, nakon čega bi zaraćene strane u BiH pozvali da uz podršku Srbije i Hrvatske potpišu mir. Taj plan Kontaktne skupine je, međutim, propao jer su ga odbili Radovan Karadžić i Ratko Mladić, tadašnji načelnik Glavnog štaba vojske bosanskih Srba.

    Jeljcin je u naknadnom razgovoru s Clintonom u Bijeloj kući branio Slobodana Miloševića od odgovornosti za propast mirovnog plana i uporno tvrdio da je za sve odgovoran isključivo Karadžić. Također je obećavao Clintonu da će ruski dužnosnici utjecati na BiH Srbe da ne poduzimaju nikakve radikalnije akcije, „iako su Muslimani prvi počeli".

    Prema deklasificiranom transkriptu njihovih razgovora, Clinton je zahvalio Jeljcinu što je preko Miloševića uspio izolirati Karadžića i Mladića nakon što su odbili mirovni plan. Jeljcin je na to izrazio nadu da će i Helmut Kohl, tadašnji njemački kancelar, konačno povjerovati da je Milošević bio iskren u obećanju kako će izolirati lidere bosanskih Srba, jer je zbog istih i njihove destrukcije Njemačka bila navodno poželjela da se Miloševića smijeni.

      Clinton je u jednom trenutku upitao Jeljcina smatra li da će Milošević Karadžića i Mladića uspjeti uvjeriti da prihvate plan Kontaktne skupine. Jeljcin mu je, kao pravi patron srpskog predsjednika, odgovorio da je Milošević pod velikim pritiskom, a da je Karadžić "čovjek veoma opasnih namjera". Povjerio se Clintonu da će Ratka Mladića pokušati privoljeti da uskoro prihvati mir uz pomoć najbolje ruske votke koju su na razgovore u Banja Luku odnijeli tadašnji ruski ministar vanjskih poslova Andrej Kozirev i ministar obrane general Pavel Gračev, Jeljcinov blizak prijatelj. Kao okorjela ispičutura, Jeljcin je očito smatrao da je votka u stanju pomoći i tamo gdje ništa drugo više ne pomaže: kako u fingiranju mirovnih napora, tako i u diplomatskim lažima.

     "Milošević je pod velikim pritiskom. Treba ga ohrabriti kako bi mogao ojačati svoju poziciju u parlamentu u odnosu na one lude radikale. Vjerujem u Miloševića, a i Mladića smo skoro psihološki pridobili, Gračev je djelovao na njega. Imali su dugu noć s puno votke, dobro su razgovarali", povjerio je Clintonu Boris Jeljcin.

    Na ovo je Clinton dobrohotno odgovorio da bi se u tom slučaju moglo razmišljati i o skorom slabljenju sankcija protiv SR Jugoslavije. "Znam da je sve ovo teško za njega (Miloševića), ali cijela regija kipti od sumnji. Ako ga možemo uvjeriti da prizna granice (Hrvatske i BiH), mogli bi učiniti puno više po pitanju sankcija. To će izolirati agresivce", rekao je Clinton. On i Jeljcin još su razgovarali i o odgodi skidanja embarga na oružje Bošnjacima, prilikom čega se Clinton požalio da su Velika Britanija, Kanada i Francuska bile protiv izvođenja zračnih udara na srpske položaje u Bosni.

      Bez snažnih zračnih udara, i to onih po Miloševićevoj Srbiji, regija na kraju ipak nije dočekala kraj velikosrpskih ratova devedesetih. Slobodan Milošević, kao njihov vrhovni gospodar, manipulirao je dugo uz pomoć ruskih saveznika svojom ulogom lažnog mirotvorca, vadeći se pred svijetom na radikalizam svojih pijuna i ubojica, kad god bi mu to osobno odgovaralo.
