Sve je pripremljeno za veliki napredak Splita. Nešto ovakvo nije se dogodilo desetljećima, zapravo od događaja koji je 1979. godine bio prijelomnica u razvoju grada pod Marjanom. Ključni će se sastanak dogoditi u petak, barem su nam tako došapnuli, a kako sada stvari stoje, priča je na "tankim nogama". Sve dalje od realizacije, a kao još jednom, po tko zna koji put u povijesti, Mađari nas čekaju "u zasjedi".

Umjesto da Split "osladi brke", sve je bliže scenarij da se Europske igre 2027. godine organiziraju na mađarskom tlu.

Multisportska manifestacija koju od milja zovu "male Olimpijske igre" za mjesec će se dana održati u poljskom Krakovu, a domaćin idućeg izdanja koje nas čeka za četiri godine još nije poznat. Krivac je - Split. Odnosno Hrvatska. 

Grčki poguranac

Grk Spyros Capralos na čelu je Europskih olimpijskih odbora i svom silom želi Hrvatskoj, odnosno Splitu, "gurnuti" organizaciju Igara. No, priča zapinje, a u petak je, kako doznajemo, najavljen sastanak premijera Andreja Plenkovića i predsjednika Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora Zlatka Mateše, najvećeg agitatora Igara u Splitu. To je zapravo biti ili ne biti za Igre. A bliže je ovo - ne biti.

Sve dosadašnje analize stručnjaka ističu da je organizacija Igara višestruko isplativa. A posebno za Split kao grad koji bi profitirao obnovljenim sportskim objektima, razvojem infrastrukture, kao i potencijalnom izgradnjom novih višenamjenskih sportskih borilišta. Teško je očekivati povijesni iskorak za grad kakav su donijele Mediteranske igre 1979. godine, bilo je tada puno više prostora za iskorak, no svakako bi grad zaživio u novom svjetlu.

No, priča se lomi, očekivano, na politici. Stavite se u kožu Andreja Plenkovića. Grad domaćin bio bi Split, u kojemu stoluje Ivica Puljak, čovjek koji stalno "pljuca" i po Plenkoviću i po HDZ-u. Taj isti Puljak pobijedio je njegove splitske "hadezejce" ne jednom, već dva puta u istom mandatu. Prvo u "regularnom" terminu, potom i na novim izborima sazvanim baš Puljkovom inicijativom.

I sad bi Plenković tom Puljku trebao servirati Igre. Dati mu i pozamašan iznos iz državne kase da se onda Puljak "brči" kako je on to donio Splitu. Takva klima, kako doznajemo, vlada u državnoj vrhuški.

Zamjena teza

No, takvim uskogrudnim načinom razmišljanja Plenković uništava i zadnju priliku da zauzme Split, otme ga iz ruku Puljka. Umjesto da Igre gleda kao način da ga Splićani i Puljak izmuzu, može ih gledati kao priliku za zauzimanje Splita. Ovako kako je radio do sada, očito, neće ići. Ne jednom, nego dvaput ga je porazio i posramio Puljak, novajlija u političkoj igri koji, ruku na srce, do sada nije ništa epohalno napravio za svoj grad. I to se polako počinje naglašavati.

Europske igre bi se vodile iz "centrale", iz Zagreba, ministar sporta je na čelu organizacijskog odbora, bilo bi potrebno uključiti i Splitsko-dalmatinsku županiju, a ona je stožer HDZ-a na čelu s Blaženkom Bobanom... Tu bi uz pravi PR Plenković mogao "dojahati na bijelom konju" i pokazati Splićanima da je on taj koji je spreman uložiti u grad. Da će on ‘podmazati kotače‘ razvoja grada.

U protivnome, čeka ga nova mina. Jer Puljak je načelno prihvatio organizaciju ovog multisportskog događaja. Ako iz Zagreba stigne odbijenica, ne sumnjamo da će je u Banovini iskoristiti da još jednom dokažu koliko metropoli nije stalo do Splita. Puljka već zamišljamo kako na Starom placu s palicom za bejzbol čeka da "ispali" Plenkovića tamo preko "Starog rodilišta". 

Stoga sastanak u petak nije samo jedan u nizu, on je zapravo najveća prilika da se HDZ upusti u ravnopravnu borbu za Split. Ili ga izgubi već sada, dvije godine prije novih lokalnih izbora. Odluka za Plenkovića nije jednostavna, ali za Split jest.

Sve je pripremljeno za veliki napredak Splita. Nešto ovakvo nije se dogodilo desetljećima, zapravo od događaja koji je 1979. godine bio prijelomnica u razvoju grada pod Marjanom. Ključni će se sastanak dogoditi u petak, barem su nam tako došapnuli, a kako sada stvari stoje, priča je na "tankim nogama". Sve dalje od realizacije, a kao još jednom, po tko zna koji put u povijesti, Mađari nas čekaju "u zasjedi".

Umjesto da Split "osladi brke", sve je bliže scenarij da se Europske igre 2027. godine organiziraju na mađarskom tlu.

Multisportska manifestacija koju od milja zovu "male Olimpijske igre" za mjesec će se dana održati u poljskom Krakovu, a domaćin idućeg izdanja koje nas čeka za četiri godine još nije poznat. Krivac je - Split. Odnosno Hrvatska. 

Grčki poguranac

Grk Spyros Capralos na čelu je Europskih olimpijskih odbora i svom silom želi Hrvatskoj, odnosno Splitu, "gurnuti" organizaciju Igara. No, priča zapinje, a u petak je, kako doznajemo, najavljen sastanak premijera Andreja Plenkovića i predsjednika Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora Zlatka Mateše, najvećeg agitatora Igara u Splitu. To je zapravo biti ili ne biti za Igre. A bliže je ovo - ne biti.

Sve dosadašnje analize stručnjaka ističu da je organizacija Igara višestruko isplativa. A posebno za Split kao grad koji bi profitirao obnovljenim sportskim objektima, razvojem infrastrukture, kao i potencijalnom izgradnjom novih višenamjenskih sportskih borilišta. Teško je očekivati povijesni iskorak za grad kakav su donijele Mediteranske igre 1979. godine, bilo je tada puno više prostora za iskorak, no svakako bi grad zaživio u novom svjetlu.

No, priča se lomi, očekivano, na politici. Stavite se u kožu Andreja Plenkovića. Grad domaćin bio bi Split, u kojemu stoluje Ivica Puljak, čovjek koji stalno "pljuca" i po Plenkoviću i po HDZ-u. Taj isti Puljak pobijedio je njegove splitske "hadezejce" ne jednom, već dva puta u istom mandatu. Prvo u "regularnom" terminu, potom i na novim izborima sazvanim baš Puljkovom inicijativom.

I sad bi Plenković tom Puljku trebao servirati Igre. Dati mu i pozamašan iznos iz državne kase da se onda Puljak "brči" kako je on to donio Splitu. Takva klima, kako doznajemo, vlada u državnoj vrhuški.

Zamjena teza

No, takvim uskogrudnim načinom razmišljanja Plenković uništava i zadnju priliku da zauzme Split, otme ga iz ruku Puljka. Umjesto da Igre gleda kao način da ga Splićani i Puljak izmuzu, može ih gledati kao priliku za zauzimanje Splita. Ovako kako je radio do sada, očito, neće ići. Ne jednom, nego dvaput ga je porazio i posramio Puljak, novajlija u političkoj igri koji, ruku na srce, do sada nije ništa epohalno napravio za svoj grad. I to se polako počinje naglašavati.

Europske igre bi se vodile iz "centrale", iz Zagreba, ministar sporta je na čelu organizacijskog odbora, bilo bi potrebno uključiti i Splitsko-dalmatinsku županiju, a ona je stožer HDZ-a na čelu s Blaženkom Bobanom... Tu bi uz pravi PR Plenković mogao "dojahati na bijelom konju" i pokazati Splićanima da je on taj koji je spreman uložiti u grad. Da će on ‘podmazati kotače‘ razvoja grada.

U protivnome, čeka ga nova mina. Jer Puljak je načelno prihvatio organizaciju ovog multisportskog događaja. Ako iz Zagreba stigne odbijenica, ne sumnjamo da će je u Banovini iskoristiti da još jednom dokažu koliko metropoli nije stalo do Splita. Puljka već zamišljamo kako na Starom placu s palicom za bejzbol čeka da "ispali" Plenkovića tamo preko "Starog rodilišta". 

Stoga sastanak u petak nije samo jedan u nizu, on je zapravo najveća prilika da se HDZ upusti u ravnopravnu borbu za Split. Ili ga izgubi već sada, dvije godine prije novih lokalnih izbora. Odluka za Plenkovića nije jednostavna, ali za Split jest.
