Manuel Baum, izbornik njemačke U18 vrste, preuzeo je dužnost trenera nogometaša Schalkea 04 umjesto Davida Wagnera, koji je dobio otkaz nakon samo dva kola Bundeslige.

Baum već ima iskustva u Bundesligi kao trener Augsburga od 2016. do 2019. godine, a potpisao je dvogodišnji ugovor, dok je njegov pomoćni trener postao bivša brazilska zvijezda Schalkea Naldo.

Novog trenera očekuje težak posao kako podignuti momčad koja nije pobijedila u posljednjih čak 18 ligaških utakmica i koja je u prva dva dana nove sezone primila 11 golova, što je najgori početak u povijesti Bundeslige.

Baum misiju spašavanja započinje teškim gostovanjem u subotu kod Leipziga. 

Schalke, osnovan 1904. godine kao klub iz predgrađa rudarskog grada Gelsenkirchena na području Ruhra, povijesni je spomenik njemačkog nogometa, sedmerostruki njemački prvak prije osnivanja profesionalne Bundeslige 1963. godine, a posljednji puta je bio prvak davne 1958. godine.

Manuel Baum, izbornik njemačke U18 vrste, preuzeo je dužnost trenera nogometaša Schalkea 04 umjesto Davida Wagnera, koji je dobio otkaz nakon samo dva kola Bundeslige.

Baum već ima iskustva u Bundesligi kao trener Augsburga od 2016. do 2019. godine, a potpisao je dvogodišnji ugovor, dok je njegov pomoćni trener postao bivša brazilska zvijezda Schalkea Naldo.

Novog trenera očekuje težak posao kako podignuti momčad koja nije pobijedila u posljednjih čak 18 ligaških utakmica i koja je u prva dva dana nove sezone primila 11 golova, što je najgori početak u povijesti Bundeslige.

Baum misiju spašavanja započinje teškim gostovanjem u subotu kod Leipziga. 

Schalke, osnovan 1904. godine kao klub iz predgrađa rudarskog grada Gelsenkirchena na području Ruhra, povijesni je spomenik njemačkog nogometa, sedmerostruki njemački prvak prije osnivanja profesionalne Bundeslige 1963. godine, a posljednji puta je bio prvak davne 1958. godine.

Manuel Baum, izbornik njemačke U18 vrste, preuzeo je dužnost trenera nogometaša Schalkea 04 umjesto Davida Wagnera, koji je dobio otkaz nakon samo dva kola Bundeslige.

Baum već ima iskustva u Bundesligi kao trener Augsburga od 2016. do 2019. godine, a potpisao je dvogodišnji ugovor, dok je njegov pomoćni trener postao bivša brazilska zvijezda Schalkea Naldo.

Novog trenera očekuje težak posao kako podignuti momčad koja nije pobijedila u posljednjih čak 18 ligaških utakmica i koja je u prva dva dana nove sezone primila 11 golova, što je najgori početak u povijesti Bundeslige.

Baum misiju spašavanja započinje teškim gostovanjem u subotu kod Leipziga.
