Bivši predsjednik Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) Joseph Blatter dodjelu Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. Kataru smatra "velikom  pogreškom" i ponovno je okrivio bivšeg šefa Europske nogometne federacije (UEFA) Michela Platinija za ishod izbora.

"Bez intervencije Sarkozyja (tadašnjeg francuskog predsjednika) kod Platinija, Katar nikada ne bi imao Svjetsko prvenstvo," rekao je Blatter u razgovoru za francuske novine "Le Monde" i naglasio: "Ovo je prvi put da je politička intervencija  utjecala na promjenu nogometne odluke."

Sve te tvrdnje, Platini je za iste novine odbacio.

- Sve je to mržnja, kleveta i zloba. Dosta je bilo. Pet godina Sepp Blatter ponavlja te lažne i neutemeljene tvrdnje. Mislio sam da će ga godine učiniti pametnijim i odvesti do istine. To što on tvrdi je potpuno neistina - poručio je Platini.

Blatter se poziva na susret Platinija u Elizejskoj palači 23. studenog 2010. s tadašnjim predsjednikom Nicolasom Sarkozyjem i sadašnjim katarskim emirom Tamimom bin Hamadom. Ubrzo nakon toga, 2. prosinca, turniri Svjetskog prvenstva 2018. dodijeljeni su Rusiji, a 2022. Kataru.

Prema Blatterovim riječima, nakon sastanka glasovi Platinija i još trojice Europljana otišli su u Katar, što je preokrenulo ravnotežu.

Što se tiče moguće korupcije u Izvršnom odboru FIFA-e, Švicarac je kazao: "Nisam ni moralist ni ispovjednik. Ali kada se dodjeljuje tako važan događaj kao što je Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo, moguće je, naravno, da dođe do novca i da netko nešto stavi u džep."

Blatter je otkrio kako je glasao za Sjedinjene Američke Države, dodavši kako je s društvenog i klimatskog gledišta, bila velika pogreška dati Svjetsko prvenstvo Kataru.

Bivši predsjednik Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) Joseph Blatter dodjelu Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. Kataru smatra "velikom  pogreškom" i ponovno je okrivio bivšeg šefa Europske nogometne federacije (UEFA) Michela Platinija za ishod izbora.

"Bez intervencije Sarkozyja (tadašnjeg francuskog predsjednika) kod Platinija, Katar nikada ne bi imao Svjetsko prvenstvo," rekao je Blatter u razgovoru za francuske novine "Le Monde" i naglasio: "Ovo je prvi put da je politička intervencija  utjecala na promjenu nogometne odluke."

Sve te tvrdnje, Platini je za iste novine odbacio.

- Sve je to mržnja, kleveta i zloba. Dosta je bilo. Pet godina Sepp Blatter ponavlja te lažne i neutemeljene tvrdnje. Mislio sam da će ga godine učiniti pametnijim i odvesti do istine. To što on tvrdi je potpuno neistina - poručio je Platini.

Blatter se poziva na susret Platinija u Elizejskoj palači 23. studenog 2010. s tadašnjim predsjednikom Nicolasom Sarkozyjem i sadašnjim katarskim emirom Tamimom bin Hamadom. Ubrzo nakon toga, 2. prosinca, turniri Svjetskog prvenstva 2018. dodijeljeni su Rusiji, a 2022. Kataru.

Prema Blatterovim riječima, nakon sastanka glasovi Platinija i još trojice Europljana otišli su u Katar, što je preokrenulo ravnotežu.

Što se tiče moguće korupcije u Izvršnom odboru FIFA-e, Švicarac je kazao: "Nisam ni moralist ni ispovjednik. Ali kada se dodjeljuje tako važan događaj kao što je Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo, moguće je, naravno, da dođe do novca i da netko nešto stavi u džep."

Blatter je otkrio kako je glasao za Sjedinjene Američke Države, dodavši kako je s društvenog i klimatskog gledišta, bila velika pogreška dati Svjetsko prvenstvo Kataru.

Bivši predsjednik FIFA-e Joseph Blatter svjetsko prvenstvo u Kataru nazvao ‘velikom pogreškom‘ i za sve okrivio Michela Platinija

Bivši predsjednik Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) Joseph Blatter dodjelu Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. Kataru smatra "velikom  pogreškom" i ponovno je okrivio bivšeg šefa Europske nogometne federacije (UEFA) Michela Platinija za ishod izbora.

"Bez intervencije Sarkozyja (tadašnjeg francuskog predsjednika) kod Platinija, Katar nikada ne bi imao Svjetsko prvenstvo," rekao je Blatter u razgovoru za francuske novine "Le Monde" i naglasio: "Ovo je prvi put da je politička intervencija  utjecala na promjenu nogometne odluke."

Sve te tvrdnje, Platini je za iste novine odbacio.
