Osim velikog broja zaraženih od koronavirusa koji se opasno približio brojci od dvije tisuće dnevno, dodatno je zabrinjavajući podatak da je Hrvatska ima čak 25,52 posto pozitivnih u odnosu na broj testiranih. Jučer je testirano 7.313 osoba, a pozitivno je 1.867, odnosno svaka četvrta testirana osoba je bila pozitivna. 

To nam govori kako je zaraženih puno više nego što službene brojke pokazuju.

"Nažalost prije je za očekivati da će i dalje ostati visoki brojevi zaraženih, nego da će smanjivati. To vam je kao gruda snijega, koja se kotrlja ili lavina koja se stvara. Mi sad imamo popriličnu grudu i treba neko vrijeme da bi se smanjila. Kad smo imali 100 zaraženih, gruda je bila određene veličine, a onda je nastavila rasti sve više i više. I kao što se taj porast nije dogodio preko noći, tako ne možemo preko noći ni očekivati da ćemo naglo zaustaviti kotrljanje i rast te grude. Kad ispred tako velike grude zabijemo grudobrane, ona će prve brane potrgati, a tek na trećima će se raspršiti snijeg. Dakle, mi moramo ponovno, ovo što se zakovitlalo, polako smanjiti i smiriti taj kovitlac", slikovito objašnjava epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić.  

Član Vladina Znanstvenog savjeta podsjeća kako koronavirus u zimskim mjesecima ima pogodnije uvjete za širenje, ali priznaje kako je i osobno iznenađen da smo sredinom desetog mjeseca dostigli tako visok broj zaraženih.

"Treba imati na umu da će uvjeti za širenje virusa biti još povoljniji idućih mjeseci. A kako će se dalje kretati broj zaraženih ne ovisi samo o prirodnim uvjetima za širenje virusa nego i o mjerama koje mi provodimo u suzbijanju njegovog širenja. Zato je nemoguće predvidjeti kako će se situacija dalje razvijati. Ako ćemo imati mjere koje će biti efikasne i ako ćemo ih se pridržavati onda će brojke padati, a ako nećemo, broj zaraženih bi mogao još više rasti", ocjenjuje dr. Kolarić.

Najnovije znanstvene studije potvrđuje, ono u što se većina oboljelih uvjerila, a to je kako je koronavirus vrlo podmukao u skrivanju. Pa tako omogućuje da imate tvornicu virusa u svom nosu, a osjećate se sasvim dobro.

U vrlo ranim stadijima zaraze ovaj je virus sposoban zavarati tijelo. Dok on već luduje u plućima i dišnim putovima, imunološki sustav još uvijek misli da je sve u redu.

Prof. dr. Paul Lehner sa Sveučilišta Cambridge za BBC je objasnio  kako naše stanice u slučaju zaraze počnu proizvoditi interferon, koji među ostalim inhibira replikaciju virusa u stanici domaćina, što pak šalje upozorenje ostatku tijela i imunosnom sustavu. Međutim, ovaj koronavirus ima nevjerojatnu sposobnost isključiti to upozorenje, objašnjava prof. Lehner, a to radi tako dobro da ni ne znate da ste bolesni.

Otkrio je da kad promatraju zaražene stanice u laboratoriju, ne mogu ih razlikovati od nezaraženih, a testovi ipak pokazuju pozitivne rezultate.

Količina virusa u tijelu doseže vrhunac dan prije nego što se razbolimo. No, potrebno je najmanje tjedan dana da Covid napreduje do točke kad ljudima zatreba hospitalizacija.

"To je zbilja sjajna evolucijska taktika - vi nećete leći u krevet, dobro se osjećate, izaći ćete i uživati", ističe Lehner koji virus uspoređuje s opasnim vozačem koji bježi s mjesta nesreće.

 - Covid-19 je prešao na drugu osobu puno prije nego što smo uopće otkrili da smo zaraženi ili prije nego što smo se oporavili. Virus ne mari hoćete li vi umrijeti, on vas zarazi i pobjegne – opisao je prof. Lehner.

Osim velikog broja zaraženih od koronavirusa koji se opasno približio brojci od dvije tisuće dnevno, dodatno je zabrinjavajući podatak da je Hrvatska ima čak 25,52 posto pozitivnih u odnosu na broj testiranih. Jučer je testirano 7.313 osoba, a pozitivno je 1.867, odnosno svaka četvrta testirana osoba je bila pozitivna. 

To nam govori kako je zaraženih puno više nego što službene brojke pokazuju.

"Nažalost prije je za očekivati da će i dalje ostati visoki brojevi zaraženih, nego da će smanjivati. To vam je kao gruda snijega, koja se kotrlja ili lavina koja se stvara. Mi sad imamo popriličnu grudu i treba neko vrijeme da bi se smanjila. Kad smo imali 100 zaraženih, gruda je bila određene veličine, a onda je nastavila rasti sve više i više. I kao što se taj porast nije dogodio preko noći, tako ne možemo preko noći ni očekivati da ćemo naglo zaustaviti kotrljanje i rast te grude. Kad ispred tako velike grude zabijemo grudobrane, ona će prve brane potrgati, a tek na trećima će se raspršiti snijeg. Dakle, mi moramo ponovno, ovo što se zakovitlalo, polako smanjiti i smiriti taj kovitlac", slikovito objašnjava epidemiolog prof. dr. Branko Kolarić.  

Član Vladina Znanstvenog savjeta podsjeća kako koronavirus u zimskim mjesecima ima pogodnije uvjete za širenje, ali priznaje kako je i osobno iznenađen da smo sredinom desetog mjeseca dostigli tako visok broj zaraženih.

"Treba imati na umu da će uvjeti za širenje virusa biti još povoljniji idućih mjeseci. A kako će se dalje kretati broj zaraženih ne ovisi samo o prirodnim uvjetima za širenje virusa nego i o mjerama koje mi provodimo u suzbijanju njegovog širenja. Zato je nemoguće predvidjeti kako će se situacija dalje razvijati. Ako ćemo imati mjere koje će biti efikasne i ako ćemo ih se pridržavati onda će brojke padati, a ako nećemo, broj zaraženih bi mogao još više rasti", ocjenjuje dr. Kolarić.

Najnovije znanstvene studije potvrđuje, ono u što se većina oboljelih uvjerila, a to je kako je koronavirus vrlo podmukao u skrivanju. Pa tako omogućuje da imate tvornicu virusa u svom nosu, a osjećate se sasvim dobro.

U vrlo ranim stadijima zaraze ovaj je virus sposoban zavarati tijelo. Dok on već luduje u plućima i dišnim putovima, imunološki sustav još uvijek misli da je sve u redu.

Prof. dr. Paul Lehner sa Sveučilišta Cambridge za BBC je objasnio  kako naše stanice u slučaju zaraze počnu proizvoditi interferon, koji među ostalim inhibira replikaciju virusa u stanici domaćina, što pak šalje upozorenje ostatku tijela i imunosnom sustavu. Međutim, ovaj koronavirus ima nevjerojatnu sposobnost isključiti to upozorenje, objašnjava prof. Lehner, a to radi tako dobro da ni ne znate da ste bolesni.

Otkrio je da kad promatraju zaražene stanice u laboratoriju, ne mogu ih razlikovati od nezaraženih, a testovi ipak pokazuju pozitivne rezultate.

Količina virusa u tijelu doseže vrhunac dan prije nego što se razbolimo. No, potrebno je najmanje tjedan dana da Covid napreduje do točke kad ljudima zatreba hospitalizacija.

"To je zbilja sjajna evolucijska taktika - vi nećete leći u krevet, dobro se osjećate, izaći ćete i uživati", ističe Lehner koji virus uspoređuje s opasnim vozačem koji bježi s mjesta nesreće.

 - Covid-19 je prešao na drugu osobu puno prije nego što smo uopće otkrili da smo zaraženi ili prije nego što smo se oporavili. Virus ne mari hoćete li vi umrijeti, on vas zarazi i pobjegne – opisao je prof. Lehner.

Osim velikog broja zaraženih od koronavirusa koji se opasno približio brojci od dvije tisuće dnevno, dodatno je zabrinjavajući podatak da je Hrvatska ima čak 25,52 posto pozitivnih u odnosu na broj testiranih. Jučer je testirano 7.313 osoba, a pozitivno je 1.867, odnosno svaka četvrta testirana osoba je bila pozitivna. 

To nam govori kako je zaraženih puno više nego što službene brojke pokazuju.
