Možda prosječnom čovjeku zvuče šokantno, ali za ljude u Africi ovi običaji predstavljaju ustaljenu normu koja se mora poštivati, piše National Geographic.

Famadihana na Madagaskaru

Famadihana je ceremonija koja se održava svakih sedam godina i uključuje uklanjanje posmrtnih ostataka preminulih, s kojima se zatim pleše. Svaka obitelj ima zapisane datume kada to treba učiniti i još uvijek se strogo pridržavaju starog pravila. Običaj je pozvati sve susjede, te poslužiti rižu i alkohol.

Trećeg dana počinje obred tijekom kojeg se izvlače bijele vreće u koje je pokojnik bio umotan tijekom sprovoda. Iako se običaj većini ljudi čini neobičnim, njime se odaje počast preminulima.

Tanjur u ustima u Etiopiji

Od 15. godine djevojčice iz plemena Suri počinju rastezati donju usnu kako bi se u nju umetnula ploča. Što je tanjur veći u promjeru, to djevojka više vrijedi. Djevojčici majka razreže usnu i u nju utakne okrugli komad drveta, a nakon što rana zacijeli, proširuje se umetanjem sve većih komada.

Točan razlog ove prakse danas nije poznat, ali se vjeruje da ovaj običaj potječe iz vremena kada su Afrikom lutali lovci na robove. Kako bi im bile neprivlačne, žene su se namjerno unakazile i tako izbjegle ropstvo.

Obavezan intimni kontakt s mladenkinom tetkom u Ugandi

Pleme Banuankor u Ugandi još uvijek prakticira običaj koji mnoge iznenadi - mladoženja ima intiman kontakt s mladenkinom tetom. Na dan vjenčanja održava se gozba u mladinoj kući na kojoj otac treba zaklati bika, a nakon toga se održava gozba u mladoženjinoj kući. Ali običaji nalažu da se i ovdje obave dva testa koja uključuju tetu. Prvo mora testirati nevinost djevojke, koja bi, ako ne prođe, mogla biti osuđena na smrt.

Drugi test uključuje testiranje seksualne sposobnosti mladoženje putem odnosa s njim, to se radi jer teta mora provjeriti je li budući mladoženja sposoban proizvesti potomstvo.

Možda prosječnom čovjeku zvuče šokantno, ali za ljude u Africi ovi običaji predstavljaju ustaljenu normu koja se mora poštivati, piše National Geographic.

Famadihana na Madagaskaru

Famadihana je ceremonija koja se održava svakih sedam godina i uključuje uklanjanje posmrtnih ostataka preminulih, s kojima se zatim pleše. Svaka obitelj ima zapisane datume kada to treba učiniti i još uvijek se strogo pridržavaju starog pravila. Običaj je pozvati sve susjede, te poslužiti rižu i alkohol.

Trećeg dana počinje obred tijekom kojeg se izvlače bijele vreće u koje je pokojnik bio umotan tijekom sprovoda. Iako se običaj većini ljudi čini neobičnim, njime se odaje počast preminulima.

Tanjur u ustima u Etiopiji

Od 15. godine djevojčice iz plemena Suri počinju rastezati donju usnu kako bi se u nju umetnula ploča. Što je tanjur veći u promjeru, to djevojka više vrijedi. Djevojčici majka razreže usnu i u nju utakne okrugli komad drveta, a nakon što rana zacijeli, proširuje se umetanjem sve većih komada.

Točan razlog ove prakse danas nije poznat, ali se vjeruje da ovaj običaj potječe iz vremena kada su Afrikom lutali lovci na robove. Kako bi im bile neprivlačne, žene su se namjerno unakazile i tako izbjegle ropstvo.

Obavezan intimni kontakt s mladenkinom tetkom u Ugandi

Pleme Banuankor u Ugandi još uvijek prakticira običaj koji mnoge iznenadi - mladoženja ima intiman kontakt s mladenkinom tetom. Na dan vjenčanja održava se gozba u mladinoj kući na kojoj otac treba zaklati bika, a nakon toga se održava gozba u mladoženjinoj kući. Ali običaji nalažu da se i ovdje obave dva testa koja uključuju tetu. Prvo mora testirati nevinost djevojke, koja bi, ako ne prođe, mogla biti osuđena na smrt.

Drugi test uključuje testiranje seksualne sposobnosti mladoženje putem odnosa s njim, to se radi jer teta mora provjeriti je li budući mladoženja sposoban proizvesti potomstvo.

Famadihana na Madagaskaru

Famadihana je ceremonija koja se održava svakih sedam godina i uključuje uklanjanje posmrtnih ostataka preminulih, s kojima se zatim pleše. Svaka obitelj ima zapisane datume kada to treba učiniti i još uvijek se strogo pridržavaju starog pravila. Običaj je pozvati sve susjede, te poslužiti rižu i alkohol.

Trećeg dana počinje obred tijekom kojeg se izvlače bijele vreće u koje je pokojnik bio umotan tijekom sprovoda. Iako se običaj većini ljudi čini neobičnim, njime se odaje počast preminulima.
