    Tomislav Tomašević je s 65 posto ili gotovo 200 tisuća glasova postao novi zagrebački gradonačelnik. Mladi aktivist i borac za javni interes predstavlja unikatnu nadu na domaćem političkom obzoru, čije će preuranjeno gašenje u ovoj zemlji sigurno imati prilično fatalne političke implikacije. Tomašević nije samo gradonačelnik, on je i živi simbol biračkog prava na promjenu.

    Posao koji se od njega očekuje nakon šest mandata pokojnog Milana Bandića i njegovih partnera u Zagrebu u stanju je ilustrirati jedino antička priča o  Augijevim štalama. Augij je bio kralj Elide, sin boga sunca Helija. Prema legendi, njegove štale nisu bile očišćene od postanka svijeta, pa je Heraklo dobio, kao peti od svojih dvanaest zadataka, da očisti te štale u samo jednom danu. Heraklo je preusmjerio rijeke Alfej i Penej prema štalama, te je sve smeće iz njih odista uspio otplaviti od izlaska do zalaska sunca. Tomašević ne može preusmjeriti Savu prema Gradskom poglavarstvu ili Holdingu i pustiti vodi da raskine i otplavi desetke tisuća štetnih i koruptivnih sprega, ugovora i kadrova ugrađenih u višedecenijsku interesno-političku mrežu: omeđen je brojnim normativnim i demokratskim zaprekama. Sve kad bi i mogao, obrambeni nasipi su odavno podignuti, a neprijatelji dobro ukopani. No, Tomaševićeve rijeke pravde i poštenja potencijalno su puno snažnije od Save i Drave zajedno, a čine ih javnost, te transparentnost djelovanja od prvog dana vlasti.

 Nije toliko bitno Tomaševićevoj momčadi zabiti gol u prvim minutama, čak ni u prvom poluvremenu. Opasna je to utakmica, s bezbroj ugroženih neprijatelja i vrlo opasnih igrača, a njezin ishod nije u dometu sudbine samo jedne političke generacije.

     U Zagrebu će Tomislav Tomašević sa svojom zeleno-lijevom koalicijom imati solidnu podršku u Gradskoj skupštini, gdje sa 41 posto glasova imaju 23 od 47 mandata. Kao dodatni koalicijski partneri ponudili su im se i socijaldemokrati iz SDP-a koji su u zagrebačkoj Skupštini dobili pet mandata. Imaju komotan zastupnički prostor i većinu, i sukno i škare, no posao koji im slijedi tehnički se ne može obaviti ni u osam, a kamoli u četiri godine. Napadi, podmetanja, obrana dugogodišnjih sinekura i financijskih interesa, kompromitacija svakog pokušaja promjene, kao i sam mamutski kolač od dvije milijarde eura gradskog proračuna, unaprijed jamče oštre očnjake prekaljenih i naglo ogladnjelih predatora i hijena.

Hoće li se aktivistička sljedba moći i umjeti nositi s takvim hordama naspram sebe, bez izbornoga legitimiteta, no spremnim na sve? I to vozeći se prostodušno na biciklu svaki dan na posao, kao pokojni švedski premijer Olof Palme?

      Zbog ovakvih pitanja koja se logično nameću trijumf Tomislava Tomaševića i platforme Možemo u Zagrebu zahvaća širok spektar emocija, od nade do pritajene zebnje.

    Tomislav Tomašević je s 65 posto ili gotovo 200 tisuća glasova postao novi zagrebački gradonačelnik. Mladi aktivist i borac za javni interes predstavlja unikatnu nadu na domaćem političkom obzoru, čije će preuranjeno gašenje u ovoj zemlji sigurno imati prilično fatalne političke implikacije. Tomašević nije samo gradonačelnik, on je i živi simbol biračkog prava na promjenu.

    Posao koji se od njega očekuje nakon šest mandata pokojnog Milana Bandića i njegovih partnera u Zagrebu u stanju je ilustrirati jedino antička priča o  Augijevim štalama. Augij je bio kralj Elide, sin boga sunca Helija. Prema legendi, njegove štale nisu bile očišćene od postanka svijeta, pa je Heraklo dobio, kao peti od svojih dvanaest zadataka, da očisti te štale u samo jednom danu. Heraklo je preusmjerio rijeke Alfej i Penej prema štalama, te je sve smeće iz njih odista uspio otplaviti od izlaska do zalaska sunca. Tomašević ne može preusmjeriti Savu prema Gradskom poglavarstvu ili Holdingu i pustiti vodi da raskine i otplavi desetke tisuća štetnih i koruptivnih sprega, ugovora i kadrova ugrađenih u višedecenijsku interesno-političku mrežu: omeđen je brojnim normativnim i demokratskim zaprekama. Sve kad bi i mogao, obrambeni nasipi su odavno podignuti, a neprijatelji dobro ukopani. No, Tomaševićeve rijeke pravde i poštenja potencijalno su puno snažnije od Save i Drave zajedno, a čine ih javnost, te transparentnost djelovanja od prvog dana vlasti.

 Nije toliko bitno Tomaševićevoj momčadi zabiti gol u prvim minutama, čak ni u prvom poluvremenu. Opasna je to utakmica, s bezbroj ugroženih neprijatelja i vrlo opasnih igrača, a njezin ishod nije u dometu sudbine samo jedne političke generacije.

     U Zagrebu će Tomislav Tomašević sa svojom zeleno-lijevom koalicijom imati solidnu podršku u Gradskoj skupštini, gdje sa 41 posto glasova imaju 23 od 47 mandata. Kao dodatni koalicijski partneri ponudili su im se i socijaldemokrati iz SDP-a koji su u zagrebačkoj Skupštini dobili pet mandata. Imaju komotan zastupnički prostor i većinu, i sukno i škare, no posao koji im slijedi tehnički se ne može obaviti ni u osam, a kamoli u četiri godine. Napadi, podmetanja, obrana dugogodišnjih sinekura i financijskih interesa, kompromitacija svakog pokušaja promjene, kao i sam mamutski kolač od dvije milijarde eura gradskog proračuna, unaprijed jamče oštre očnjake prekaljenih i naglo ogladnjelih predatora i hijena.

Hoće li se aktivistička sljedba moći i umjeti nositi s takvim hordama naspram sebe, bez izbornoga legitimiteta, no spremnim na sve? I to vozeći se prostodušno na biciklu svaki dan na posao, kao pokojni švedski premijer Olof Palme?

      Zbog ovakvih pitanja koja se logično nameću trijumf Tomislava Tomaševića i platforme Možemo u Zagrebu zahvaća širok spektar emocija, od nade do pritajene zebnje.
