U Splitu je u 90. godini života preminuo Ivo Boko, umirovljeni novinar, dugogodišnji član redakcija Slobodne Dalmacije i HRT-ova Radija Split.

U vrijeme kada su "novine bile mlade", početkom šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kolega Boko, s neraskidivim korijenima iz podsvilajskog Ogorja, bio je dio moćne gomilice iz Gradske rubrike naše medijske kuće. Uz kasnije legendarne (glavne) urednike Joška Kulušića, Ivu Jurišića, Vladimira Caktaša, Ranka Vilića, Divnu Šerić i Omera Juretu, a pod "dirigentskom palicom" Branka Ožegovića, brusio je zanat po Pazaru i Radunici.

- Radili smo tutta forza i nadmetali se međusobno tko će dnevno objaviti više informacija - izjavio je prije devet godina Jurišić u intervjuu za strukovni časopis "Novinar".

Upravo s kolegom Caktašem, Boko se iz Stare Slobodne kod Pazara preselio u redakciju Radija Split na Meje i, među ostalim, preuzeo kormilo "Pomorske večeri", emisije koja je do danas ostala nezaobilazna luka u nacionalnom, pa i međunarodnom eteru. Dugi niz godina bio je i urednik informativnih radijskih emisija i čovjek koji je pružao prilike tada mladim ljudima, a danas etabliranim novinarima.

Njegova velika ljubav bili su more i ribolov, pa je 2005. godine, u suradnji Slobodne Dalmacije i tvrtke "Marjan tisak", objavio knjigu "Ribarski libar" kao "pučko štivo o svijetu našeg jadranskog podmorja ima jedinu namjenu - pripomoći promidžbi resursa zvanog Jadran među svekolikim hrvatskim pukom, živio on na moru ili na kopnu".

Novinarsku nit Ive Boke u našoj medijskoj kući nastavio je njegov sin Jasen, dugogodišnji novinar i urednik rubrike Kultura, koji je svoju karijeru nastavio na kazališnim daskama kao dramaturg, književnik i putopisac.

U Splitu je u 90. godini života preminuo Ivo Boko, umirovljeni novinar, dugogodišnji član redakcija Slobodne Dalmacije i HRT-ova Radija Split.

U vrijeme kada su "novine bile mlade", početkom šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kolega Boko, s neraskidivim korijenima iz podsvilajskog Ogorja, bio je dio moćne gomilice iz Gradske rubrike naše medijske kuće. Uz kasnije legendarne (glavne) urednike Joška Kulušića, Ivu Jurišića, Vladimira Caktaša, Ranka Vilića, Divnu Šerić i Omera Juretu, a pod "dirigentskom palicom" Branka Ožegovića, brusio je zanat po Pazaru i Radunici.

- Radili smo tutta forza i nadmetali se međusobno tko će dnevno objaviti više informacija - izjavio je prije devet godina Jurišić u intervjuu za strukovni časopis "Novinar".

Upravo s kolegom Caktašem, Boko se iz Stare Slobodne kod Pazara preselio u redakciju Radija Split na Meje i, među ostalim, preuzeo kormilo "Pomorske večeri", emisije koja je do danas ostala nezaobilazna luka u nacionalnom, pa i međunarodnom eteru. Dugi niz godina bio je i urednik informativnih radijskih emisija i čovjek koji je pružao prilike tada mladim ljudima, a danas etabliranim novinarima.

Njegova velika ljubav bili su more i ribolov, pa je 2005. godine, u suradnji Slobodne Dalmacije i tvrtke "Marjan tisak", objavio knjigu "Ribarski libar" kao "pučko štivo o svijetu našeg jadranskog podmorja ima jedinu namjenu - pripomoći promidžbi resursa zvanog Jadran među svekolikim hrvatskim pukom, živio on na moru ili na kopnu".

Novinarsku nit Ive Boke u našoj medijskoj kući nastavio je njegov sin Jasen, dugogodišnji novinar i urednik rubrike Kultura, koji je svoju karijeru nastavio na kazališnim daskama kao dramaturg, književnik i putopisac.
