Mirisat će bakalar i ovaj Badnjak skoro iz svake kuće u Dalmaciji, iako mu je kao nikad do sada cijena ‘po zlato‘. Kilogram se naime po trgovačkim centrima nudi u rasponu od 42 do 55 eura i to za drugu klasu bakalara jer prvu, kako nam kažu naši ribari rijetko gdje će te pronaći u Hrvatskoj.

Zaboravili smo na mola

- Naši se trgovci pravdaju kvotama za izlov bakalara, no i uz njih ima ga više nego dovoljno za cijelo europsko tržište. Prije tri dana bio sam u Italiji, u par gradova na jadranskoj obali i baš me zanimala cijena bakalara. Od 22 do 24 eura po kilogramu, a ovi skuplji su prva klasa – otkriva nam dubrovački kočar, te poručuje kako je naš jadranski mol jednak bakalaru. – Naši ribari suše mole, ukusom je istovjetni bakalarima, a cijena za kilogram je 20 eura. No ljudi očito to ne shvaćaju ili ne zanaju da nema razlike,  pa plaćaju bakalar po zlato iako njegova cijena u nabavi ne može biti viša od 10 eura za kilogram – ističe naš sugovornik koji sugrađanima savjetuje da pitaju svoje ribare imaju li sušenih mola. - Nećete se prevariti, kada ga napravite na bijelo ili na crveno, nećete osjetiti razliku od bakalara- savjetuje ovaj ribar. U Portugalu i Španjolskoj bakalar je jedno od najvažnijih jela njihovih nacionalnih kuhinja. Portugalci se primjerice hvale da ga spravljaju na 365 načina, jedan za svaki dan u godini, no unatoč tome cijena mu je daleko manja nego u Hrvatskoj. U Portugalu cijena za kilogram iznosi 15 eura, a u Španjolskoj 17 eura, dok ga u Francuskoj možete kupiti za 16 eura po kilogramu. U Njemačkoj je nešto skuplji, između 24 i 28 eura, ali to je i dalje skoro duplo manja cijena nego u nas.

Nismo Talijani

No Hrvati nisu Nijemci, Portugalci, Španjolci ili Francuzi a svakako ne Talijani koji su nedavno bojkotirali svoju gurmansku svetinju, pastu, jer su držali da joj je cijena po kojoj im se u trgovini nudi previsoka. Za razliku od njih, mi ‘kukamo‘, ali i dalje kupujemo bez obzira što je cijena nekog proizvoda, u ovom slučaju bakalara, astronomska. – Jest, preskupo je. A što ćemo, mora nam malo zamirisati. Daj Bože samo zdravlja, to je najvažnije – univerzalan je odgovor Hrvata u tv anketama ispred trgovima i na tržnicama, bez obzira radi li se o zaposlenim ljudima ili penzionerima čija mirovina potraje od 8 ujutro do podne. Kada imamo takav stav, ne trebamo se žaliti, ne trebamo se buniti. Zar se baš mora jesti bakalar na Badnjak i hoće li nam se nešto dogoditi ako ga preskočimo ili ako kojim slučajem na bijelo ili crveno spravimo domaćeg sušenog mola? Neće, kao što se ništa nije dogodilo Talijanima koji su jedno vrijeme preskakali ‘primo piatto‘. U našem Jadranu ne pliva Bakalar, ali zato po Hrvatskoj hoda skoro četiri milijuna ovaca. A blagdani su idealno vrijeme za njihovo šišanje.

Mirisat će bakalar i ovaj Badnjak skoro iz svake kuće u Dalmaciji, iako mu je kao nikad do sada cijena ‘po zlato‘. Kilogram se naime po trgovačkim centrima nudi u rasponu od 42 do 55 eura i to za drugu klasu bakalara jer prvu, kako nam kažu naši ribari rijetko gdje će te pronaći u Hrvatskoj.

Zaboravili smo na mola

- Naši se trgovci pravdaju kvotama za izlov bakalara, no i uz njih ima ga više nego dovoljno za cijelo europsko tržište. Prije tri dana bio sam u Italiji, u par gradova na jadranskoj obali i baš me zanimala cijena bakalara. Od 22 do 24 eura po kilogramu, a ovi skuplji su prva klasa – otkriva nam dubrovački kočar, te poručuje kako je naš jadranski mol jednak bakalaru. – Naši ribari suše mole, ukusom je istovjetni bakalarima, a cijena za kilogram je 20 eura. No ljudi očito to ne shvaćaju ili ne zanaju da nema razlike,  pa plaćaju bakalar po zlato iako njegova cijena u nabavi ne može biti viša od 10 eura za kilogram – ističe naš sugovornik koji sugrađanima savjetuje da pitaju svoje ribare imaju li sušenih mola. - Nećete se prevariti, kada ga napravite na bijelo ili na crveno, nećete osjetiti razliku od bakalara- savjetuje ovaj ribar. U Portugalu i Španjolskoj bakalar je jedno od najvažnijih jela njihovih nacionalnih kuhinja. Portugalci se primjerice hvale da ga spravljaju na 365 načina, jedan za svaki dan u godini, no unatoč tome cijena mu je daleko manja nego u Hrvatskoj. U Portugalu cijena za kilogram iznosi 15 eura, a u Španjolskoj 17 eura, dok ga u Francuskoj možete kupiti za 16 eura po kilogramu. U Njemačkoj je nešto skuplji, između 24 i 28 eura, ali to je i dalje skoro duplo manja cijena nego u nas.

Nismo Talijani

No Hrvati nisu Nijemci, Portugalci, Španjolci ili Francuzi a svakako ne Talijani koji su nedavno bojkotirali svoju gurmansku svetinju, pastu, jer su držali da joj je cijena po kojoj im se u trgovini nudi previsoka. Za razliku od njih, mi ‘kukamo‘, ali i dalje kupujemo bez obzira što je cijena nekog proizvoda, u ovom slučaju bakalara, astronomska. – Jest, preskupo je. A što ćemo, mora nam malo zamirisati. Daj Bože samo zdravlja, to je najvažnije – univerzalan je odgovor Hrvata u tv anketama ispred trgovima i na tržnicama, bez obzira radi li se o zaposlenim ljudima ili penzionerima čija mirovina potraje od 8 ujutro do podne. Kada imamo takav stav, ne trebamo se žaliti, ne trebamo se buniti. Zar se baš mora jesti bakalar na Badnjak i hoće li nam se nešto dogoditi ako ga preskočimo ili ako kojim slučajem na bijelo ili crveno spravimo domaćeg sušenog mola? Neće, kao što se ništa nije dogodilo Talijanima koji su jedno vrijeme preskakali ‘primo piatto‘. U našem Jadranu ne pliva Bakalar, ali zato po Hrvatskoj hoda skoro četiri milijuna ovaca. A blagdani su idealno vrijeme za njihovo šišanje.
