Kraljica Elizabeta II. prije skoro pola stoljeća, u listopadu 1972., boravila je sa suprugom Filipom, vojvodom od Edinburgha, u Dubrovniku, a njihov posjet Gradu popratio je Dubrovački vjesnik, izvještaj za broj koji je objavljen 20. listopada 1972. je napisao Baldo Čupić.

U okviru svog petodnevnog službenog posjeta našoj zemlji na poziv predsjednika Republike Josipa Broza Tita – britanska kraljica Elizabeta II sa svojim suprugom princom Filipom vojvodom od Edinburgha, kćerkom princezom Anom i ostalim članovima pratnje boravila je u četvrtak u Dubrovniku.

Kraljica Elizabeta doputovala je na dubrovački aerodrom specijalnim avionom iz Beograda nešto poslije 11.30. U njenoj pratnji s jugoslavenske strane bio je potpredsjednik Savezne skupštine, doktor Slavko Komar i druge ličnosti.

Kraljicu Elizabetu II, princa Filipa i princezu Anu u Dubrovniku do dočekali i pozdravili predsjednik Izvršnog vijeća Sabora Socijalističkog Republike Hrvatske doktor Ivo Perišin, član Izvršnog vijeća Novak Pribičević, predsjednik Skupštine općine Dubrovnik Ante Vetma i drugi.

Poslije dočeka na Pilama kraljica Elizabeta sa svojom pratnjom uputila se u razgledanje kulturno-povijesnih znamenitosti grada. U pratnji vodiča: profesora Milice Portolan, Ljubice Marinović Bulić i Iva Kastrapelija visoki gosti obišli su najprije dio gradskih zidina iznad ulaza s Pila u stari grad, zatim posjetili staru ljekarnu u Franjevačkom samostanu i s velikim zanimanjem razgledali izložene eksponate. Za vrijeme šetnje glavnom ulicom Placom građani su najsrdačniji pozdravili britansku kraljicu i ostale visoke goste izražavajući tako svoje zadovoljstvo što je britanski suveren u okviru svog boravka u našoj zemlji posjetio i Dubrovnik.

Kraće vrijeme britanska kraljica Elizabeta II zadržala se u Kneževom dvoru, a zatim također sa zanimanjem razgledala Pomorski muzej u tvrđavi Svetog Ivana. Tom prilikom predsjednik Općinske skupštine Ante Vetma poklonio je britanskoj kraljici model dubrovačkog galijuna.

Poslije razgledanja gradskih znamenitosti kraljica Elizabeta II, njen suprug princ Filip Vojvoda od Edinburgha i kćerka princeza Ana prisustvovali su ručku u hotelu "Excelsior" kojeg je u čast posjeta britanskog suverena Dubrovniku priredio predsjednik Općinske skupštine Ante Vetma.

Istog dana poslije podne britanska kraljica Elizabeta II i ostali visoki gost otputovali su u Titograd. Za vrijeme svog boravka u našoj zemlji britanska kraljica posjetit će još nekoliko gradova, a boravak u Dubrovniku uslijedio je nakon posjeta Beogradu gdje joj je također priređen srdačan doček i gdje se susrela s predsjednikom Republike Josipom Brozom Titom.

Državni arhiv u Dubrovniku na Facebooku je objavio povijesne dokumente koji se čuvaju u Državnom arhivu u Dubrovniku, a vezani su uz posjet kraljice Elizabete II i princa Philipa, vojvode od Edinburgha u listopadu 1972. godine. Tako je zabilježeno kako ‘kraljica ne jede kamenice‘, tko je sve dočekao na aerodromu te cijeli protokol posjeta Gradu.

Kraljica Elizabeta II. prije skoro pola stoljeća, u listopadu 1972., boravila je sa suprugom Filipom, vojvodom od Edinburgha, u Dubrovniku, a njihov posjet Gradu popratio je Dubrovački vjesnik, izvještaj za broj koji je objavljen 20. listopada 1972. je napisao Baldo Čupić.

U okviru svog petodnevnog službenog posjeta našoj zemlji na poziv predsjednika Republike Josipa Broza Tita – britanska kraljica Elizabeta II sa svojim suprugom princom Filipom vojvodom od Edinburgha, kćerkom princezom Anom i ostalim članovima pratnje boravila je u četvrtak u Dubrovniku.

Kraljica Elizabeta doputovala je na dubrovački aerodrom specijalnim avionom iz Beograda nešto poslije 11.30. U njenoj pratnji s jugoslavenske strane bio je potpredsjednik Savezne skupštine, doktor Slavko Komar i druge ličnosti.

Kraljicu Elizabetu II, princa Filipa i princezu Anu u Dubrovniku do dočekali i pozdravili predsjednik Izvršnog vijeća Sabora Socijalističkog Republike Hrvatske doktor Ivo Perišin, član Izvršnog vijeća Novak Pribičević, predsjednik Skupštine općine Dubrovnik Ante Vetma i drugi.

Poslije dočeka na Pilama kraljica Elizabeta sa svojom pratnjom uputila se u razgledanje kulturno-povijesnih znamenitosti grada. U pratnji vodiča: profesora Milice Portolan, Ljubice Marinović Bulić i Iva Kastrapelija visoki gosti obišli su najprije dio gradskih zidina iznad ulaza s Pila u stari grad, zatim posjetili staru ljekarnu u Franjevačkom samostanu i s velikim zanimanjem razgledali izložene eksponate. Za vrijeme šetnje glavnom ulicom Placom građani su najsrdačniji pozdravili britansku kraljicu i ostale visoke goste izražavajući tako svoje zadovoljstvo što je britanski suveren u okviru svog boravka u našoj zemlji posjetio i Dubrovnik.

Kraće vrijeme britanska kraljica Elizabeta II zadržala se u Kneževom dvoru, a zatim također sa zanimanjem razgledala Pomorski muzej u tvrđavi Svetog Ivana. Tom prilikom predsjednik Općinske skupštine Ante Vetma poklonio je britanskoj kraljici model dubrovačkog galijuna.

Poslije razgledanja gradskih znamenitosti kraljica Elizabeta II, njen suprug princ Filip Vojvoda od Edinburgha i kćerka princeza Ana prisustvovali su ručku u hotelu "Excelsior" kojeg je u čast posjeta britanskog suverena Dubrovniku priredio predsjednik Općinske skupštine Ante Vetma.

Istog dana poslije podne britanska kraljica Elizabeta II i ostali visoki gost otputovali su u Titograd. Za vrijeme svog boravka u našoj zemlji britanska kraljica posjetit će još nekoliko gradova, a boravak u Dubrovniku uslijedio je nakon posjeta Beogradu gdje joj je također priređen srdačan doček i gdje se susrela s predsjednikom Republike Josipom Brozom Titom.

Državni arhiv u Dubrovniku na Facebooku je objavio povijesne dokumente koji se čuvaju u Državnom arhivu u Dubrovniku, a vezani su uz posjet kraljice Elizabete II i princa Philipa, vojvode od Edinburgha u listopadu 1972. godine. Tako je zabilježeno kako ‘kraljica ne jede kamenice‘, tko je sve dočekao na aerodromu te cijeli protokol posjeta Gradu.

Kraljica Elizabeta II. prije skoro pola stoljeća, u listopadu 1972., boravila je sa suprugom Filipom, vojvodom od Edinburgha, u Dubrovniku, a njihov posjet Gradu popratio je Dubrovački vjesnik, izvještaj za broj koji je objavljen 20. listopada 1972. je napisao Baldo Čupić.

U okviru svog petodnevnog službenog posjeta našoj zemlji na poziv predsjednika Republike Josipa Broza Tita – britanska kraljica Elizabeta II sa svojim suprugom princom Filipom vojvodom od Edinburgha, kćerkom princezom Anom i ostalim članovima pratnje boravila je u četvrtak u Dubrovniku.

Kraljica Elizabeta doputovala je na dubrovački aerodrom specijalnim avionom iz Beograda nešto poslije 11.30. U njenoj pratnji s jugoslavenske strane bio je potpredsjednik Savezne skupštine, doktor Slavko Komar i druge ličnosti.

Kraljicu Elizabetu II, princa Filipa i princezu Anu u Dubrovniku do dočekali i pozdravili predsjednik Izvršnog vijeća Sabora Socijalističkog Republike Hrvatske doktor Ivo Perišin, član Izvršnog vijeća Novak Pribičević, predsjednik Skupštine općine Dubrovnik Ante Vetma i drugi.

Poslije dočeka na Pilama kraljica Elizabeta sa svojom pratnjom uputila se u razgledanje kulturno-povijesnih znamenitosti grada. U pratnji vodiča: profesora Milice Portolan, Ljubice Marinović Bulić i Iva Kastrapelija visoki gosti obišli su najprije dio gradskih zidina iznad ulaza s Pila u stari grad, zatim posjetili staru ljekarnu u Franjevačkom samostanu i s velikim zanimanjem razgledali izložene eksponate. Za vrijeme šetnje glavnom ulicom Placom građani su najsrdačniji pozdravili britansku kraljicu i ostale visoke goste izražavajući tako svoje zadovoljstvo što je britanski suveren u okviru svog boravka u našoj zemlji posjetio i Dubrovnik.

Kraće vrijeme britanska kraljica Elizabeta II zadržala se u Kneževom dvoru, a zatim također sa zanimanjem razgledala Pomorski muzej u tvrđavi Svetog Ivana. Tom prilikom predsjednik Općinske skupštine Ante Vetma poklonio je britanskoj kraljici model dubrovačkog galijuna.
