Slučajno smo došli do starog turističkog prospekta otoka Lopuda. Na prospektu se ne vidi datum tiskanja, ali po pečatima koji su na prospektu, može se iščitati početak 1970-ih godina, točnije 1971. i 1972.

- Lopud je ugodno i mirno ljetovalište na istoimenom otoku, udaljen svega 7 morskih milja od Dubrovnik. (...) Lopud ima više puta svaki dan vezu s Dubrovnikom, a lopudski brodari svojim motornim čamcima često organiziraju izlete u dalju i bližu okolicu te posjete svjetskim poznatim Dubrovačkim ljetnim igrama. Za informacije obratite se: direktno hotelima na Lopudu, Turističkom društvu "Pracat" - Lopud, navodi se u prospektu koji donosi informacije na engleskom, njemačkom i francuskom jeziku.
Iz prospekta se jasno vidi da je ovaj elafitski otok tad imao čak četiri hotela. Tako je navedeno da je danas svima poznati Hotel Lafodia tad bio hotel ‘B‘ kategorije ‘smješten u krasnoj šumi tik uz morsku obalu‘.
- Taj vrlo udoban hotel raspolaže vlastitom plažom i pristaništem, zatim noćnim klubom, kavanom, salonom i terasom za sunčanje i razonodu. Hotel također posjeduje frizerski salon, mjenjačnicu i prodavaonicu suvenira. Sve sobe imaju tuš, WC, telefon i balkon s pogledom na more, stoji u prospektu.

U to vrijeme je gostima na raspolaganju bio i Hotel Grand, hotel ‘C‘ kategorije koji je raspolagao s, kako se navodi, ‘83 vrlo udobne sobe‘.
- Svaka soba ima balkon te toplu i hladnu tekuću vodu, a na svim katovima nalazi se kupatilo i WC. Između hotela i pješčane plaže (ispred hotela) pruža se divan park, obrastao bogatom suptropskom vegetacijom, koji taj hotel čini privlačnim gostima svih ukusa i zahtjeva.
Treći lopudski hotel u to je vrijeme bio Hotel Dubrava s depandansom Lopud. Bio je to hotel ‘C‘ kategorije.
- Smješten je uz samu pješčanu plažu, omogućava gostima ugodno kupanje, a hotelski vrt pun bujne mediteranske vegetacije i terasa uz more savršen odmor i osvježenje. U svim sobama ima tekuću vodu, a na svakom katu su kupatila s hladnom i toplom vodom te WC.

Četvrti hotel bio je Hotel Pracat (s depandansom) koji je isto bio hotel C kategorije.
- Osim lijepoga parka, zasađena narančama, posjeduje i vlastitu pješčanu plažu, a neposredno uz plažu nalazi se i prostrana hotelska terasa koja gostima pruža ugodan odmor i razonodu. Sve sobe imaju tekuću vodu, a većina i pogled na more, stoji u prospektu.
Iz današnje perspektive čini se skoro nevjerojatnim da je Lopud u neko, ne baš tako davno doba, imao ovakvu turističku ponudu!

Slučajno smo došli do starog turističkog prospekta otoka Lopuda. Na prospektu se ne vidi datum tiskanja, ali po pečatima koji su na prospektu, može se iščitati početak 1970-ih godina, točnije 1971. i 1972.

- Lopud je ugodno i mirno ljetovalište na istoimenom otoku, udaljen svega 7 morskih milja od Dubrovnik. (...) Lopud ima više puta svaki dan vezu s Dubrovnikom, a lopudski brodari svojim motornim čamcima često organiziraju izlete u dalju i bližu okolicu te posjete svjetskim poznatim Dubrovačkim ljetnim igrama. Za informacije obratite se: direktno hotelima na Lopudu, Turističkom društvu "Pracat" - Lopud, navodi se u prospektu koji donosi informacije na engleskom, njemačkom i francuskom jeziku.
Iz prospekta se jasno vidi da je ovaj elafitski otok tad imao čak četiri hotela. Tako je navedeno da je danas svima poznati Hotel Lafodia tad bio hotel ‘B‘ kategorije ‘smješten u krasnoj šumi tik uz morsku obalu‘.
- Taj vrlo udoban hotel raspolaže vlastitom plažom i pristaništem, zatim noćnim klubom, kavanom, salonom i terasom za sunčanje i razonodu. Hotel također posjeduje frizerski salon, mjenjačnicu i prodavaonicu suvenira. Sve sobe imaju tuš, WC, telefon i balkon s pogledom na more, stoji u prospektu.

U to vrijeme je gostima na raspolaganju bio i Hotel Grand, hotel ‘C‘ kategorije koji je raspolagao s, kako se navodi, ‘83 vrlo udobne sobe‘.
- Svaka soba ima balkon te toplu i hladnu tekuću vodu, a na svim katovima nalazi se kupatilo i WC. Između hotela i pješčane plaže (ispred hotela) pruža se divan park, obrastao bogatom suptropskom vegetacijom, koji taj hotel čini privlačnim gostima svih ukusa i zahtjeva.
Treći lopudski hotel u to je vrijeme bio Hotel Dubrava s depandansom Lopud. Bio je to hotel ‘C‘ kategorije.
- Smješten je uz samu pješčanu plažu, omogućava gostima ugodno kupanje, a hotelski vrt pun bujne mediteranske vegetacije i terasa uz more savršen odmor i osvježenje. U svim sobama ima tekuću vodu, a na svakom katu su kupatila s hladnom i toplom vodom te WC.

Četvrti hotel bio je Hotel Pracat (s depandansom) koji je isto bio hotel C kategorije.
- Osim lijepoga parka, zasađena narančama, posjeduje i vlastitu pješčanu plažu, a neposredno uz plažu nalazi se i prostrana hotelska terasa koja gostima pruža ugodan odmor i razonodu. Sve sobe imaju tekuću vodu, a većina i pogled na more, stoji u prospektu.
Iz današnje perspektive čini se skoro nevjerojatnim da je Lopud u neko, ne baš tako davno doba, imao ovakvu turističku ponudu!
