stdClass Object ( [id] => 1018355 [title] => Otkazan ovogodišnji Midsummer Scene [alias] => otkazan-ovogodisnji-midsummer-scene [catid] => 355 [published] => 1 [introtext] => [fulltext] => Dubrovački festival Midsummer Scene koji je prošlih ljeta privukao veliki broj zaljubljenika u djela Shakespearea, ali isto tako predstavljao Hrvatsku na brojnim međunarodnim festivalima, zbog koronavirusa se neće održati ove godine. Festval se trebao održati od 18. lipnja do 6. srpnja.

„Naš je festival na prvo mjesto uvijek stavljao zdravlje i sigurnost izvođača i publike i stoga smo ove godine morali donijeti tužnu, ali neizbježnu odluku. Slijedeći naputak Vlade Republike Hrvatske i pridržavajući se ograničenja koja je kazalištima nametnula Velika Britanija, nažalost, moramo odgoditi izvođenje programa do 2021. godine“, izjavile su organizatorice i producentice festivala Darija Mikulandra-Žanetić i Jelena Maržić.

Ova je godina počela trećim uzastopnim gostovanjem na Bermudskom festivalu, a niz se trebao nastaviti uvrštavanjem u glavni program Shakespeareovog festivala u Neussu u Njemačkoj i zaigrati na replici pozornice kazališta Globe. Iako je taj festival otkazan, organizatori su sigurni da će Njemačka ponovno pozvati Festival jer su uvjereni u kvalitetu Festivala i ljubav prema klasičnom kazalištu. Sva ostala gostovanja Romea i Julije koja su bila u pregovorima također će se morati ostvariti idućih sezona, poručili su organizatori.

„Iako nam je ova odluka bila neizbježna, u mislima su nam ljudi koji su ove godine s nama trebali raditi. Ove se godine tako svjetla gase na našoj pozornici, ali to nikako ne znači da ćemo zauvijek potonuti u mrak. Ovo je doviđenja do iduće godine, a ne zbogom. Dijelimo sudbinu svih kazališta i festivala i želimo im snage i domišljatosti da sve ovo prežive. Dragi prijatelji, do ponovnog nam susreta ostanite zdravi i sigurni i spremni da nam opet pohrlite u pohode!“ – zaključio je Filip Krenus, organizator i producent festivala. Ova je godina počela trećim uzastopnim gostovanjem na Bermudskom festivalu, a niz se trebao nastaviti uvrštavanjem u glavni program Shakespeareovog festivala u Neussu u Njemačkoj i zaigrati na replici pozornice kazališta Globe. Iako je taj festival otkazan, organizatori su sigurni da će Njemačka ponovno pozvati Festival jer su uvjereni u kvalitetu Festivala i ljubav prema klasičnom kazalištu. Sva ostala gostovanja Romea i Julije koja su bila u pregovorima također će se morati ostvariti idućih sezona, poručili su organizatori.

„Iako nam je ova odluka bila neizbježna, u mislima su nam ljudi koji su ove godine s nama trebali raditi. Ove se godine tako svjetla gase na našoj pozornici, ali to nikako ne znači da ćemo zauvijek potonuti u mrak. Ovo je doviđenja do iduće godine, a ne zbogom. Dubrovački festival Midsummer Scene koji je prošlih ljeta privukao veliki broj zaljubljenika u djela Shakespearea, ali isto tako predstavljao Hrvatsku na brojnim međunarodnim festivalima, zbog koronavirusa se neće održati ove godine. Festval se trebao održati od 18. lipnja do 6. srpnja.

„Naš je festival na prvo mjesto uvijek stavljao zdravlje i sigurnost izvođača i publike i stoga smo ove godine morali donijeti tužnu, ali neizbježnu odluku.
