U arheološkom  muzeju Narona u utorak 18. svibnja u 19 sati otvorit će se gostujuća izložba Muzeja grada Kaštela  Helenistička reljefna keramika iz Sikula.

Ova izložba je po svojoj koncepciji studijska izložba iz fundusa muzeja. Arheološki lokalitet Sikuli istražuje se od 1991. godine i najpoznatiji je upravo po helenističkoj reljefnoj keramici koja se pronalazi i na kopnu i u moru. To je vrsta keramike koja se počela proizvoditi krajem 3 st pr. Kr. u Ateni i odatle se širila dalje. Ima dva oblika – krater u koji se miješalo vino i čaše, zdjelice iz kojih se pilo vino. Spada u stolno posuđe i služilo je isključivo za pijenje vina. Stjenke su bogato ukrašene reljefnim motivima vezanim uz vino i boga Dioniza. Tako se mogu pronaći različiti vegetabilni motivi, životinje (većinom morske) te čak i ljudske figure. Sikuli imaju bogatu zbirku ovih posuda, bilo cjelovitih bilo ulomaka, među najvećom na Jadranu (preko 200 komada). Posude pronađene u Sikulima potječu iz više domaćih i stranih radionica.

Istog dana, 18. svibnja obilježava se Međunarodni dan muzeja te četrnaesti rođendan Arheološkog muzeja Narona, koji je otvoren na isti dan 2007. godine.

U arheološkom  muzeju Narona u utorak 18. svibnja u 19 sati otvorit će se gostujuća izložba Muzeja grada Kaštela  Helenistička reljefna keramika iz Sikula.

Ova izložba je po svojoj koncepciji studijska izložba iz fundusa muzeja. Arheološki lokalitet Sikuli istražuje se od 1991. godine i najpoznatiji je upravo po helenističkoj reljefnoj keramici koja se pronalazi i na kopnu i u moru. To je vrsta keramike koja se počela proizvoditi krajem 3 st pr. Kr. u Ateni i odatle se širila dalje. Ima dva oblika – krater u koji se miješalo vino i čaše, zdjelice iz kojih se pilo vino. Spada u stolno posuđe i služilo je isključivo za pijenje vina. Stjenke su bogato ukrašene reljefnim motivima vezanim uz vino i boga Dioniza. Tako se mogu pronaći različiti vegetabilni motivi, životinje (većinom morske) te čak i ljudske figure. Sikuli imaju bogatu zbirku ovih posuda, bilo cjelovitih bilo ulomaka, među najvećom na Jadranu (preko 200 komada). Posude pronađene u Sikulima potječu iz više domaćih i stranih radionica.

Istog dana, 18. svibnja obilježava se Međunarodni dan muzeja te četrnaesti rođendan Arheološkog muzeja Narona, koji je otvoren na isti dan 2007. godine.

U arheološkom  muzeju Narona u utorak 18. svibnja u 19 sati otvorit će se gostujuća izložba Muzeja grada Kaštela  Helenistička reljefna keramika iz Sikula.

Ova izložba je po svojoj koncepciji studijska izložba iz fundusa muzeja. Arheološki lokalitet Sikuli istražuje se od 1991. godine i najpoznatiji je upravo po helenističkoj reljefnoj keramici koja se pronalazi i na kopnu i u moru. To je vrsta keramike koja se počela proizvoditi krajem 3 st pr. Kr. u Ateni i odatle se širila dalje. Ima dva oblika – krater u koji se miješalo vino i čaše, zdjelice iz kojih se pilo vino. Spada u stolno posuđe i služilo je isključivo za pijenje vina. Stjenke su bogato ukrašene reljefnim motivima vezanim uz vino i boga Dioniza. Tako se mogu pronaći različiti vegetabilni motivi, životinje (većinom morske) te čak i ljudske figure. Sikuli imaju bogatu zbirku ovih posuda, bilo cjelovitih bilo ulomaka, među najvećom na Jadranu (preko 200 komada). Posude pronađene u Sikulima potječu iz više domaćih i stranih radionica.

Istog dana, 18. svibnja obilježava se Međunarodni dan muzeja te četrnaesti rođendan Arheološkog muzeja Narona, koji je otvoren na isti dan 2007. godine.

- Popust na odabrane suvenire

- Otvorenje izložbe u 19 sati
