U svrhu daljnjeg transporta ukradenih vozila, kriminalne skupine diljem Europe sve se više okreću rastavljanju vozila na dijelove, a na meti su im kamperi i brodski motori, objavili su iz Agencije za europsku graničnu i obalnu stražu - Frontex.
Ravnateljstvo policije u ponedjeljak je priopćilo kako su službenici za provedbu zakona iz 23 europske zemlje bili uključeni u operaciju "Zajednički akcijski dani (JAD) Mobile 5", usredotočenu na otkrivanje ukradenih vozila i autodijelova, ali i na krijumčarenje ljudi te s tim povezano krivotvorenje isprava.
Ove je godine Frontex također koristio mobilne timove u Hrvatskoj s tehničkom opremom za otkrivanje ukradenih vozila.
Utvrđeno je da su se usred pandemije, zbog zatvaranja granica, kriminalne skupine koje se bave krađom vozila diljem Europe okrenule rastavljanju vozila na dijelove, kako bi ih lakše prebacili preko granica.
Uslijed sve većeg interesa među putnicima koji žele izbjeći letove, kamperi su postali omiljena meta kradljivaca vozila, kao i brodski motori jer se zbog manjka brodova na tržištu mnogi koriste za prijevoz migranata, primjerice preko La Manchea.
Akcija se u listopadu provodila 12 dana uz pojačanu provjeru na nekoliko lokacija duž vanjske granice EU.
Rezultirala je zapljenama 522 ukradena vozila i raznih autodijelova te brodskih motora, kao i razotkrivanjem četiri tzv. ilegalne radionice u kojima su se otuđena vozila brzo rastavljala na dijelove koji se zatim mogu prokrijumčariti preko granica.
"Vozilo otuđeno ispred nečije kuće u 20 sati može završiti rastavljeno na dijelove samo četiri sata kasnije - tada će mu biti puno teže ući u trag", poručio je Marcin Skowronek, Frontexov stručnjak koji je koordinirao operacijom.
Operativna akcija bila je usmjerena na teški i organizirani prekogranični kriminal diljem Europe i uglavnom je bila usredotočena na otkrivanje otuđenih vozila i autodijelova, ali kako takva kaznena djela često idu ruku pod ruku s drugim kriminalnim aktivnostima, akcija je bila usmjerena i na krijumčarenje ljudi i s tim povezano krivotvorenje isprava.
Tako je uhićen i 91 krijumčar ljudima te otkriveno 110 krivotvorenih isprava.

U svrhu daljnjeg transporta ukradenih vozila, kriminalne skupine diljem Europe sve se više okreću rastavljanju vozila na dijelove, a na meti su im kamperi i brodski motori, objavili su iz Agencije za europsku graničnu i obalnu stražu - Frontex.
Ravnateljstvo policije u ponedjeljak je priopćilo kako su službenici za provedbu zakona iz 23 europske zemlje bili uključeni u operaciju "Zajednički akcijski dani (JAD) Mobile 5", usredotočenu na otkrivanje ukradenih vozila i autodijelova, ali i na krijumčarenje ljudi te s tim povezano krivotvorenje isprava.
Ove je godine Frontex također koristio mobilne timove u Hrvatskoj s tehničkom opremom za otkrivanje ukradenih vozila.
Utvrđeno je da su se usred pandemije, zbog zatvaranja granica, kriminalne skupine koje se bave krađom vozila diljem Europe okrenule rastavljanju vozila na dijelove, kako bi ih lakše prebacili preko granica.
Uslijed sve većeg interesa među putnicima koji žele izbjeći letove, kamperi su postali omiljena meta kradljivaca vozila, kao i brodski motori jer se zbog manjka brodova na tržištu mnogi koriste za prijevoz migranata, primjerice preko La Manchea.
Akcija se u listopadu provodila 12 dana uz pojačanu provjeru na nekoliko lokacija duž vanjske granice EU.
Rezultirala je zapljenama 522 ukradena vozila i raznih autodijelova te brodskih motora, kao i razotkrivanjem četiri tzv. ilegalne radionice u kojima su se otuđena vozila brzo rastavljala na dijelove koji se zatim mogu prokrijumčariti preko granica.
"Vozilo otuđeno ispred nečije kuće u 20 sati može završiti rastavljeno na dijelove samo četiri sata kasnije - tada će mu biti puno teže ući u trag", poručio je Marcin Skowronek, Frontexov stručnjak koji je koordinirao operacijom.
Operativna akcija bila je usmjerena na teški i organizirani prekogranični kriminal diljem Europe i uglavnom je bila usredotočena na otkrivanje otuđenih vozila i autodijelova, ali kako takva kaznena djela često idu ruku pod ruku s drugim kriminalnim aktivnostima, akcija je bila usmjerena i na krijumčarenje ljudi i s tim povezano krivotvorenje isprava.
