Usred ratnog kaosa u Izraelu našli su se i strani radnici od kojih mnogi ne mogu napustiti zemlju. Vjeruje se, piše Guardian, da je od početka napada Hamasa 7. listopada u Izraelu poginulo 50 stranih radnika. Riječ je o 30 Tajlanđana, četiri Filipinca i deset Nepalaca, prema izvještajima vlade i medija, piše Jutarnji list. 

U zemlji radi oko 100.000 stranih radnika. Uglavnom je riječ o građevinarima, njegovateljima i radnicima u poljoprivredi. Plaće su dobre, mnogo bolje nego u zemljama u izraelskom okruženju pa radnici često plaćaju goleme svote posredničkim agencijama. Radnici s kojima je razgovarao Guardian izjavili su svi odreda da ne mogu napustiti zemlju, iako se boje za svoju sigurnost, jer su jednostavno previše platili za dolazak u zemlju i sada duguju agencijama za zapošljavanje koje su ih i dovele u Izrael.

Jedna njegovateljica s Filipina brinula se o 88-godišnjem muškarcu u kibucu Be‘eri, samo nekoliko kilometara udaljenom od granice s Gazom, kada je Hamas napao Izrael. Ova 33-godišnjakinja sakrila se u sklonište s klijentom i tamo čekala 18 sati bez hrane i vode prije nego što su, oko dva sata ujutro, došli spasioci. Neki njezini kolege nisu bili te sreće.

"Bilo je strašno. Mislila sam da su mi to posljednji sati života", rekla je britanskom dnevniku. Međutim, ne namjerava se vratiti kući. "Moja obitelj želi da se vratim, ali još nismo kupili kuću. Zato sam došla i trebamo ovdje raditi još tri godine dok to ne uspijemo", objasnila je.

Prema pisanju Guardiana, rat koji bjesni na Bliskom istoku otkrio je prakse protivne pravilima međunarodne organizacije za rad. Prema njima, bilo kakve agencijske provizije plaća poslodavac, a nikako radnik. Međutim, u Izraelu ih plaćaju radnici, što je i prije rata bio povod kritikama.

Jedan njegovatelj iz Indije platio je, kaže, 20.000 dolara za priliku da radi u Izraelu. Ima 29 godina i objašnjava da je plaća izvrsna pa zato svi žele doći raditi. Riječ je o 1500 dolara mjesečno, a to je tri puta više nego što bi dobio u zaljevskim zemljama za isti posao. Ovaj mladi čovjek digao je kredit kako bi došao do posla. Iako Indija, baš kao i Filipini, šalje avion po svoje državljane, odlazak za njega nije opcija. "Regrutacijske provizije u Izraelu su deset puta veće nago u Zaljevu. Zato ovdje ne dolazi puno ljudi. Ali ako imate novac, doći ćete. Ako nemate, ne možete", kaže.

Upravo zbog takve situacije u kojoj se strani radnici nalaze, organizacije za zaštitu ljudskih prava kritiziraju Izrael, ali i traže da se zaštiti nevidljiva skupina u izraelskom društvu, a to su strani radnici.

Usred ratnog kaosa u Izraelu našli su se i strani radnici od kojih mnogi ne mogu napustiti zemlju. Vjeruje se, piše Guardian, da je od početka napada Hamasa 7. listopada u Izraelu poginulo 50 stranih radnika. Riječ je o 30 Tajlanđana, četiri Filipinca i deset Nepalaca, prema izvještajima vlade i medija, piše Jutarnji list. 

U zemlji radi oko 100.000 stranih radnika. Uglavnom je riječ o građevinarima, njegovateljima i radnicima u poljoprivredi. Plaće su dobre, mnogo bolje nego u zemljama u izraelskom okruženju pa radnici često plaćaju goleme svote posredničkim agencijama. Radnici s kojima je razgovarao Guardian izjavili su svi odreda da ne mogu napustiti zemlju, iako se boje za svoju sigurnost, jer su jednostavno previše platili za dolazak u zemlju i sada duguju agencijama za zapošljavanje koje su ih i dovele u Izrael.

Jedna njegovateljica s Filipina brinula se o 88-godišnjem muškarcu u kibucu Be‘eri, samo nekoliko kilometara udaljenom od granice s Gazom, kada je Hamas napao Izrael. Ova 33-godišnjakinja sakrila se u sklonište s klijentom i tamo čekala 18 sati bez hrane i vode prije nego što su, oko dva sata ujutro, došli spasioci. Neki njezini kolege nisu bili te sreće.

"Bilo je strašno. Mislila sam da su mi to posljednji sati života", rekla je britanskom dnevniku. Međutim, ne namjerava se vratiti kući. "Moja obitelj želi da se vratim, ali još nismo kupili kuću. Zato sam došla i trebamo ovdje raditi još tri godine dok to ne uspijemo", objasnila je.

Prema pisanju Guardiana, rat koji bjesni na Bliskom istoku otkrio je prakse protivne pravilima međunarodne organizacije za rad. Prema njima, bilo kakve agencijske provizije plaća poslodavac, a nikako radnik. Međutim, u Izraelu ih plaćaju radnici, što je i prije rata bio povod kritikama.

Jedan njegovatelj iz Indije platio je, kaže, 20.000 dolara za priliku da radi u Izraelu. Ima 29 godina i objašnjava da je plaća izvrsna pa zato svi žele doći raditi. Riječ je o 1500 dolara mjesečno, a to je tri puta više nego što bi dobio u zaljevskim zemljama za isti posao. Ovaj mladi čovjek digao je kredit kako bi došao do posla. Iako Indija, baš kao i Filipini, šalje avion po svoje državljane, odlazak za njega nije opcija. "Regrutacijske provizije u Izraelu su deset puta veće nago u Zaljevu. Zato ovdje ne dolazi puno ljudi. Upravo zbog takve situacije u kojoj se strani radnici nalaze, organizacije za zaštitu ljudskih prava kritiziraju Izrael, ali i traže da se zaštiti nevidljiva skupina u izraelskom društvu, a to su strani radnici.

Slučajno se zatekli u ratnom vihoru, ali ne žele napustiti Izrael: ‘Pogledajte kakve su nam plaće!‘

Usred ratnog kaosa u Izraelu našli su se i strani radnici od kojih mnogi ne mogu napustiti zemlju. Vjeruje se, piše Guardian, da je od početka napada Hamasa 7. listopada u Izraelu poginulo 50 stranih radnika. Riječ je o 30 Tajlanđana, četiri Filipinca i deset Nepalaca, prema izvještajima vlade i medija, piše Jutarnji list. 

U zemlji radi oko 100.000 stranih radnika. Uglavnom je riječ o građevinarima, njegovateljima i radnicima u poljoprivredi. Plaće su dobre, mnogo bolje nego u zemljama u izraelskom okruženju pa radnici često plaćaju goleme svote posredničkim agencijama. Radnici s kojima je razgovarao Guardian izjavili su svi odreda da ne mogu napustiti zemlju, iako se boje za svoju sigurnost, jer su jednostavno previše platili za dolazak u zemlju i sada duguju agencijama za zapošljavanje koje su ih i dovele u Izrael.

Jedna njegovateljica s Filipina brinula se o 88-godišnjem muškarcu u kibucu Be‘eri, samo nekoliko kilometara udaljenom od granice s Gazom, kada je Hamas napao Izrael. Ova 33-godišnjakinja sakrila se u sklonište s klijentom i tamo čekala 18 sati bez hrane i vode prije nego što su, oko dva sata ujutro, došli spasioci. Neki njezini kolege nisu bili te sreće.

"Bilo je strašno. Mislila sam da su mi to posljednji sati života", rekla je britanskom dnevniku. Međutim, ne namjerava se vratiti kući. "Moja obitelj želi da se vratim, ali još nismo kupili kuću. Zato sam došla i trebamo ovdje raditi još tri godine dok to ne uspijemo", objasnila je.

Prema pisanju Guardiana, rat koji bjesni na Bliskom istoku otkrio je prakse protivne pravilima međunarodne organizacije za rad. Prema njima, bilo kakve agencijske provizije plaća poslodavac, a nikako radnik. Međutim, u Izraelu ih plaćaju radnici, što je i prije rata bio povod kritikama.

Jedan njegovatelj iz Indije platio je, kaže, 20.000 dolara za priliku da radi u Izraelu. Ima 29 godina i objašnjava da je plaća izvrsna pa zato svi žele doći raditi. Riječ je o 1500 dolara mjesečno, a to je tri puta više nego što bi dobio u zaljevskim zemljama za isti posao. Ovaj mladi čovjek digao je kredit kako bi došao do posla. Iako Indija, baš kao i Filipini, šalje avion po svoje državljane, odlazak za njega nije opcija. "Regrutacijske provizije u Izraelu su deset puta veće nago u Zaljevu. Zato ovdje ne dolazi puno ljudi. Ali ako imate novac, doći ćete. Ako nemate, ne možete", kaže.

Upravo zbog takve situacije u kojoj se strani radnici nalaze, organizacije za zaštitu ljudskih prava kritiziraju Izrael, ali i traže da se zaštiti nevidljiva skupina u izraelskom društvu, a to su strani radnici.
