Izrael je od 2016. primio 320 milijuna dolara američke vojne pomoći za razvoj tehnika koje bi im omogućile uništenje Hamasovih podzemnih tunela, piše Financial Times. Međutim, univerzalan lijek koji bi im pomogao u brzoj likvidaciji Hamasovih tunela nije pronađen.

Uništenje mreže podzemnih Hamasovih tunela jedan je od razloga zašto je izraelska vojska nastavila ofenzivu nakon jednotjednog primirja, unatoč rastućem međunarodnom pritisku. Imaju namjensku postrojbu inženjera, kao i obučene komandose, opremljene da istraže tunel i unište ga. No kako bi sačuvali živote vojnika, više su se oslanjali na pse tragače, robote i dronove, donosi Jutarnji list

Prvi korak je lociranje tunela. Za to služe radarski i akustični senzori, no djelovanje im je ograničeno u urbanom okruženju, zatrpanom ruševinama. Jednostavnija metoda sastoji se od ubacivanja dimne granate u ulaz u tunel, koji se zatim zabrtvi s pjenom, a dalje se prati da se vidi gdje će dim izaći. Za potpuno uništenje tunela nije dovoljna jedna eksplozija, nego postavljanje eksploziva uzduž podzemnih prolaza, tumači Financial Times. Jedna od metoda je korištenje tekućih eksploziva koji ispunjavaju prostor tunela i potom detoniraju, objašnjava Yehuda Kfir, izraelski građevinski inženjer i rezervni časnik IDF-a.

Druga mogućnost su oružja koja usisavaju kisik kako bi proizvela eksploziju iznimno visoke temperature, no njihova primjena je kontroverzna na naseljenim područjima.

Treća opcija je upumpavanje morske vode pod visokim tlakom, i to Izrael već koristi, a u prilog toj tezi idu i snimke koje su objavljene. Danas je rečeno da je Izrael instalirao najmanje pet pumpi oko 1,5 kilometara sjeverno od izbjegličkog kampa Al-Shati koje bi mogle upumpavati tisuće kubičnih metara vode na sat - što znači da bi mogle poplaviti mrežu tunela dugu 480 kilometara u roku od nekoliko tjedana.

Uništavanje Hamasovih tunela najteži je aspekt misije izraelske vojske i među najvažnijim, ističe Daphné Richemond-Barak. No zadatak je težak. Moramo biti strpljivi, trebat će vremena, kaže profesorica.

Iskapanje novih, paralelnih tunela predstavljalo bi manji rizik za taoce od poplava i eksplozija. Za tu se metodu zalaže inženjer Yehuda Kfir. Izrael bi trebao, kaže on, stići do srca Hamasovog sustava ne odozgo, nego odozdo. No za to treba vremena. Neki dužnosnici žale što Izrael nije ništa ozbiljnije poduzeo godinama ranije. "Trebali smo sve to uništiti kada je Hamasova mreža tunela bila manja. Imali smo sve obavještajne podatke", rekao je bivši sigurnosni dužnosnik za FT.

Smatra se da je većina Hamasovih tunela preživjela gotovo osam tjedana nemilosrdnog izraelskog napada, piše FT. U tunelima Hamas sakriva oružje i više od 130 talaca koje još uvijek drži. Kopanje tunela drevna je ratna tehnika. Židovi su ih koristili u slavnoj pobuni protiv Rimljana prije 2000 godina, koristili su ih i borci Viet Conga protiv američkih snaga u vijetnamskom ratu.

Nakon što je Hamas osvojio vlast u Gazi prije 16 godina, prokopao je mrežu tunela u mekom pješčenjaku Gaze. Uništenje tunela prioritet je za izraelsku vojsku. Do sada su locirali više od 800 ulaza u tunele, od čega su uništili 500. Izraelska vojska objavila je da je uništila mnogo kilometara tunela. FT navodi da se procjenjuje da je mreža tunela dulja od 500 kilometara.

Izraelske snage sada kontroliraju veći dio sjeverne Gaze, ali vojnici IDF-a i dalje se suočavaju s napadima boraca Hamasa koji iskaču iz tunela i zatim se povlače "poput miševa‘‘, prenosi FT. 

Izrael je navodno u operacijama 2021. koristio laserski navođene GBU-28 bombe, poznate kao "razbijače bunkera". Od tada su izvukli lekciju da kopaju dublje i sustav tunela zaštite armiranim betonom, tumači izraelski inženjer Yehuda Kfir.

On pretpostavlja da je Hamas izgradio tunele u više slojeva, pri čemu su na vrhu uski tuneli s vratima otpornim na eksplozije, a na donjoj razini širi tuneli s logističkim centrima, skladištima oružja i stambenim prostorom.

Izrael je od 2016. primio 320 milijuna dolara američke vojne pomoći za razvoj tehnika koje bi im omogućile uništenje Hamasovih podzemnih tunela, piše Financial Times. Međutim, univerzalan lijek koji bi im pomogao u brzoj likvidaciji Hamasovih tunela nije pronađen.

Uništenje mreže podzemnih Hamasovih tunela jedan je od razloga zašto je izraelska vojska nastavila ofenzivu nakon jednotjednog primirja, unatoč rastućem međunarodnom pritisku. Imaju namjensku postrojbu inženjera, kao i obučene komandose, opremljene da istraže tunel i unište ga. No kako bi sačuvali živote vojnika, više su se oslanjali na pse tragače, robote i dronove, donosi Jutarnji list

Prvi korak je lociranje tunela. Za to služe radarski i akustični senzori, no djelovanje im je ograničeno u urbanom okruženju, zatrpanom ruševinama. Jednostavnija metoda sastoji se od ubacivanja dimne granate u ulaz u tunel, koji se zatim zabrtvi s pjenom, a dalje se prati da se vidi gdje će dim izaći. Za potpuno uništenje tunela nije dovoljna jedna eksplozija, nego postavljanje eksploziva uzduž podzemnih prolaza, tumači Financial Times. Jedna od metoda je korištenje tekućih eksploziva koji ispunjavaju prostor tunela i potom detoniraju, objašnjava Yehuda Kfir, izraelski građevinski inženjer i rezervni časnik IDF-a.

Druga mogućnost su oružja koja usisavaju kisik kako bi proizvela eksploziju iznimno visoke temperature, no njihova primjena je kontroverzna na naseljenim područjima.

Treća opcija je upumpavanje morske vode pod visokim tlakom, i to Izrael već koristi, a u prilog toj tezi idu i snimke koje su objavljene. Danas je rečeno da je Izrael instalirao najmanje pet pumpi oko 1,5 kilometara sjeverno od izbjegličkog kampa Al-Shati koje bi mogle upumpavati tisuće kubičnih metara vode na sat - što znači da bi mogle poplaviti mrežu tunela dugu 480 kilometara u roku od nekoliko tjedana.

Uništavanje Hamasovih tunela najteži je aspekt misije izraelske vojske i među najvažnijim, ističe Daphné Richemond-Barak. No zadatak je težak. Moramo biti strpljivi, trebat će vremena, kaže profesorica.

Iskapanje novih, paralelnih tunela predstavljalo bi manji rizik za taoce od poplava i eksplozija. Za tu se metodu zalaže inženjer Yehuda Kfir. Izrael bi trebao, kaže on, stići do srca Hamasovog sustava ne odozgo, nego odozdo. No za to treba vremena. Neki dužnosnici žale što Izrael nije ništa ozbiljnije poduzeo godinama ranije. "Trebali smo sve to uništiti kada je Hamasova mreža tunela bila manja. Imali smo sve obavještajne podatke", rekao je bivši sigurnosni dužnosnik za FT.

Smatra se da je većina Hamasovih tunela preživjela gotovo osam tjedana nemilosrdnog izraelskog napada, piše FT. U tunelima Hamas sakriva oružje i više od 130 talaca koje još uvijek drži. Kopanje tunela drevna je ratna tehnika. Židovi su ih koristili u slavnoj pobuni protiv Rimljana prije 2000 godina, koristili su ih i borci Viet Conga protiv američkih snaga u vijetnamskom ratu.

Nakon što je Hamas osvojio vlast u Gazi prije 16 godina, prokopao je mrežu tunela u mekom pješčenjaku Gaze. Uništenje tunela prioritet je za izraelsku vojsku. Do sada su locirali više od 800 ulaza u tunele, od čega su uništili 500. Izraelska vojska objavila je da je uništila mnogo kilometara tunela. FT navodi da se procjenjuje da je mreža tunela dulja od 500 kilometara.

Izraelske snage sada kontroliraju veći dio sjeverne Gaze, ali vojnici IDF-a i dalje se suočavaju s napadima boraca Hamasa koji iskaču iz tunela i zatim se povlače "poput miševa‘‘, prenosi FT. 

Izrael je navodno u operacijama 2021. koristio laserski navođene GBU-28 bombe, poznate kao "razbijače bunkera". Od tada su izvukli lekciju da kopaju dublje i sustav tunela zaštite armiranim betonom, tumači izraelski inženjer Yehuda Kfir.

On pretpostavlja da je Hamas izgradio tunele u više slojeva, pri čemu su na vrhu uski tuneli s vratima otpornim na eksplozije, a na donjoj razini širi tuneli s logističkim centrima, skladištima oružja i stambenim prostorom.
