Sutra, 1. rujna, Beach Bar Dodo organizira humanitarnu zabavu pod imenom „Veliko srce za Mali Dom“, gdje će sav prihod od prodaje pića biti namijenjen za pomoć djeci u sirotištu Mali dom i doprinosu rada fra Mire Babića, a za odličnu atmosferu bit će zadužen DJ Vagabundo. Zabava počinje od 20 sati.

Prilikom zabave, moći će se kupiti „Šarene narukvice prijateljstva“ koja ručno plete lokalno stanovništvo iz misije. Donacija od narukvice će se pretvoriti u hranu, lijekove, pomagala za bolesnu djecu, cipelice, školske zadaće, novu školu i sve što je potrebno da imaju život barem približan našem.

'Prošle godine smo se odlučili za volontersko putovanje u Afriku, točnije u centralnu Keniju. Stigli smo u selo Lower Subukia, na 50-ak kilometara teško pristupačnog područja daleko od prometnica i zdravstvene skrbi, gdje franjevci žive među ljudima i pomažu im stvoriti minimalne uvjete potrebne za život. Jedan od njih je i hrvatski misionar fra Miro Babić, iza kojeg je već desetljeće afričkog života.

Fra Miro Babić vodi sirotište „Mali dom“. Tamo su smještena napuštena, bolesna djeca koja su često ostavljena da umru u teškim afričkim uvjetima, a ulaskom u Mali dom postaju dijelom jedne velike obitelji, obitelji kojoj je dugo ime – Ljubav.
Susreli smo se s volonteri iz cijelog svijeta koji se brinu o velikom broju djece, koji neprestano raste, a posebnu pažnju posvećuju njihovom obrazovanju, koje je najsigurniji put za izlaz iz siromaštva. Teško je riječima opisati osjećaje koje smo tamo doživjeli, ali smo bili sigurni u jedno – da ćemo se opet vratiti!', napisali su organizatori.

Sutra, 1. rujna, Beach Bar Dodo organizira humanitarnu zabavu pod imenom „Veliko srce za Mali Dom“, gdje će sav prihod od prodaje pića biti namijenjen za pomoć djeci u sirotištu Mali dom i doprinosu rada fra Mire Babića, a za odličnu atmosferu bit će zadužen DJ Vagabundo. Zabava počinje od 20 sati.

Prilikom zabave, moći će se kupiti „Šarene narukvice prijateljstva“ koja ručno plete lokalno stanovništvo iz misije. Donacija od narukvice će se pretvoriti u hranu, lijekove, pomagala za bolesnu djecu, cipelice, školske zadaće, novu školu i sve što je potrebno da imaju život barem približan našem.

'Prošle godine smo se odlučili za volontersko putovanje u Afriku, točnije u centralnu Keniju. Stigli smo u selo Lower Subukia, na 50-ak kilometara teško pristupačnog područja daleko od prometnica i zdravstvene skrbi, gdje franjevci žive među ljudima i pomažu im stvoriti minimalne uvjete potrebne za život. Jedan od njih je i hrvatski misionar fra Miro Babić, iza kojeg je već desetljeće afričkog života.

Fra Miro Babić vodi sirotište „Mali dom“. Tamo su smještena napuštena, bolesna djeca koja su često ostavljena da umru u teškim afričkim uvjetima, a ulaskom u Mali dom postaju dijelom jedne velike obitelji, obitelji kojoj je dugo ime – Ljubav.
Susreli smo se s volonteri iz cijelog svijeta koji se brinu o velikom broju djece, koji neprestano raste, a posebnu pažnju posvećuju njihovom obrazovanju, koje je najsigurniji put za izlaz iz siromaštva. Teško je riječima opisati osjećaje koje smo tamo doživjeli, ali smo bili sigurni u jedno – da ćemo se opet vratiti!', napisali su organizatori.

Sutra, 1. rujna, Beach Bar Dodo organizira humanitarnu zabavu pod imenom „Veliko srce za Mali Dom“, gdje će sav prihod od prodaje pića biti namijenjen za pomoć djeci u sirotištu Mali dom i doprinosu rada fra Mire Babića, a za odličnu atmosferu bit će zadužen DJ Vagabundo.
