Koji su zdravstveni problemi hrvatskih branitelja te kakva im je zapravo kvaliteta života danas, pitanja su na koje se pokušao dati odgovor na javnozdravstvenoj akciji koja se održala u ponedjeljak u prostorima Udruge veterana 4. gardijske brigade.
Akciji veterana Domovinskog rata odazvali su se Hrvatska udruga medicinskih sestara podružnice KBC Split, Hrvatska komora medicinskih sestara podružnice SDŽ, Hrvatsko društvo za bolesti jetre "Hepatos", Nastavni zavod za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije i nutricionisti KBC-a Split.

Braniteljima su mjereni krvni tlak, šećer u krvi, tjelesna težina, protok zraka te su dobili korisne savjete o zdravom načinu života i higijensko dijetetskim mjerama ne bi li se prevenirale kronične bolesti, rano prepoznale i pravovremeno liječile.
Odazvalo se 50-ak branitelja u svojim 50-ima, kazala nam je Dijana Blažević, glavna sestra Klinike za psihijatriju KBC-a Split koja s braniteljima surađuje već godinama.
Danas glavna sestra prije desetak godina je bila zaposlena u Regionalnom centru za psihotraumu KBC-a Split u sklopu "psihijatrije" te je upoznata s problemima i životnim navikama veterana Domovinskog rata. Kako smo pisali početkom godine, u prošloj godini preminuo je 51 branitelj 4. gardijske brigade.
- Dosta im je visok tlak, vjerojatno od stresa, a tjelesna težina povećana. Branitelji imaju sistematske preglede u dogovoru s Ministarstvom branitelja – ultrazvuk, krv, tlak, pregled interniste. Dala sam im prijedlog za ovo, a i bilo je zgodno da se malo podružimo - odgovorila je Blažević.

KBC Split i Minitarstvo branitelja imaju ugovoreno 700 sistematskih pregleda godišnje, a prošle godine ih je obavljeno više od 800, kazali su iz KBC-a Split početkom ove godine.
Zašto je u 20 dana preminulo pet splitskih branitelja? ‘Žaloste me lažne priče. Za mnoge smrti kriv je osobni nemar...‘
Doktor doc.dr.sc. Dragan Ledina s Infektologije nam je kazao kako branitelji u gradovima češće obolijevaju od bolesti današnjice kao što su prekomjerna težina, masnija jetra i povišeni krvni tlak.
- Ništa ne odskaču od vrijednosti populacije i dosta su dobro. Bio sam u braniteljskoj udruzi u Dabru nedaleko od Sinja i primjećujem kako branitelji u gradu više pate od bolesti današnjice i hipertenzije - odgovorio nam je.

Ono što pak može zabrinjavati je visoka stopa samoubojstava među braniteljskom populacijom, a naročito PTSP o čemu smo već pisali.

Koji su zdravstveni problemi hrvatskih branitelja te kakva im je zapravo kvaliteta života danas, pitanja su na koje se pokušao dati odgovor na javnozdravstvenoj akciji koja se održala u ponedjeljak u prostorima Udruge veterana 4. gardijske brigade.
Akciji veterana Domovinskog rata odazvali su se Hrvatska udruga medicinskih sestara podružnice KBC Split, Hrvatska komora medicinskih sestara podružnice SDŽ, Hrvatsko društvo za bolesti jetre "Hepatos", Nastavni zavod za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije i nutricionisti KBC-a Split.

Braniteljima su mjereni krvni tlak, šećer u krvi, tjelesna težina, protok zraka te su dobili korisne savjete o zdravom načinu života i higijensko dijetetskim mjerama ne bi li se prevenirale kronične bolesti, rano prepoznale i pravovremeno liječile.
Odazvalo se 50-ak branitelja u svojim 50-ima, kazala nam je Dijana Blažević, glavna sestra Klinike za psihijatriju KBC-a Split koja s braniteljima surađuje već godinama.
Danas glavna sestra prije desetak godina je bila zaposlena u Regionalnom centru za psihotraumu KBC-a Split u sklopu "psihijatrije" te je upoznata s problemima i životnim navikama veterana Domovinskog rata. Kako smo pisali početkom godine, u prošloj godini preminuo je 51 branitelj 4. gardijske brigade.
- Dosta im je visok tlak, vjerojatno od stresa, a tjelesna težina povećana. Branitelji imaju sistematske preglede u dogovoru s Ministarstvom branitelja – ultrazvuk, krv, tlak, pregled interniste. Dala sam im prijedlog za ovo, a i bilo je zgodno da se malo podružimo - odgovorila je Blažević.

KBC Split i Minitarstvo branitelja imaju ugovoreno 700 sistematskih pregleda godišnje, a prošle godine ih je obavljeno više od 800, kazali su iz KBC-a Split početkom ove godine.
Zašto je u 20 dana preminulo pet splitskih branitelja? ‘Žaloste me lažne priče. Za mnoge smrti kriv je osobni nemar...‘
Doktor doc.dr.sc. Dragan Ledina s Infektologije nam je kazao kako branitelji u gradovima češće obolijevaju od bolesti današnjice kao što su prekomjerna težina, masnija jetra i povišeni krvni tlak.
- Ništa ne odskaču od vrijednosti populacije i dosta su dobro. Bio sam u braniteljskoj udruzi u Dabru nedaleko od Sinja i primjećujem kako branitelji u gradu više pate od bolesti današnjice i hipertenzije - odgovorio nam je.

Ono što pak može zabrinjavati je visoka stopa samoubojstava među braniteljskom populacijom, a naročito PTSP o čemu smo već pisali.
