Sjedinjene Države u petak su uvele sankcije suradniku izraelskog krajnje desnog ministra nacionalne sigurnosti i dvama entitetima koji su skupljali novce za doseljenike na Zapadnoj obali optužene za nasilje.

Sankcije, uz one koje su već ove godine nametnute petorici doseljenika i protiv dvije nezakonite ispostave na Zapadnoj obali, najnoviji su znak rastuće frustracije SAD-a politikom izraelskog premijera Benjamina Netanyahua.

Osobama pod sankcijama zamrzava se sva imovina u SAD-u te se brani američkim državljanima da s njima posluju.

Dvije organizacije kojima su uvedene sankcije pokrenule su kampanje prikupljanja sredstava za potporu doseljenicima optuženima za nasilje protiv kojih su bile uvedene prethodne sankcije, priopćilo je američko ministarstvo financija.

Potezi Bidenove administracije protiv izraelskih doseljenika uznemirili su desničarske članove Netanyahuove vladajuće koalicije koji podupiru širenje židovskih naselja i u konačnici aneksiju Zapadne obale koju Palestinci žele u svojoj budućoj državi.

Washington je uveo sankcije protiv Ben-Ziona Gopsteina, osnivača i vođe desničarske skupine Lehava.

Gopstein je rekao da Lehava ima 5000 članova.

Glasnogovornik State Departmenta Matthew Miller rekao je da su članovi skupine sudjelovali u "destabilizirajućem nasilju koje pogađa Zapadnu obalu".

"Pod Gopsteinovim vodstvom, Lehava i njezini članovi bili su uključeni u nasilje ili prijetnje nasiljem protiv Palestinaca, često ciljajući osjetljiva ili nestabilna područja", poručio je Miller, upozoravajući na dodatne korake ako Izrael ne poduzme mjere za sprječavanje ekstremističkih napada u jeku eskalacije nasilja na Zapadnoj obali posljednjih dana.

Europska unija također je u petak priopćila da je dogovorila sankcije protiv Lehave i drugih skupina povezanih s nasilnim doseljenicima.

Gopstein, najistaknutija ličnost u Izraelu pod sankcijama SAD-a, bliski je suradnik ministra za nacionalnu sigurnost Itamara Ben-Gvira s kojim je i obiteljski povezan.

Ben-Gvir je, kao i Gopstein, bio učenik pokojnog Meira Kahanea, ultranacionalističkog rabina čiji je pokret Kach Washington uvrstio na popis posebno označenih globalnih terorističkih organizacija.

Ben-Gvir je u petak oštro osudio odluku SAD-a, istaknuvši da su optužbe protiv osoba kojima su uvedene sankcije plod klevete palestinskih skupina i anarhista.

Sjedinjene Države u petak su uvele sankcije suradniku izraelskog krajnje desnog ministra nacionalne sigurnosti i dvama entitetima koji su skupljali novce za doseljenike na Zapadnoj obali optužene za nasilje.

Sankcije, uz one koje su već ove godine nametnute petorici doseljenika i protiv dvije nezakonite ispostave na Zapadnoj obali, najnoviji su znak rastuće frustracije SAD-a politikom izraelskog premijera Benjamina Netanyahua.

Osobama pod sankcijama zamrzava se sva imovina u SAD-u te se brani američkim državljanima da s njima posluju.

Dvije organizacije kojima su uvedene sankcije pokrenule su kampanje prikupljanja sredstava za potporu doseljenicima optuženima za nasilje protiv kojih su bile uvedene prethodne sankcije, priopćilo je američko ministarstvo financija.

Potezi Bidenove administracije protiv izraelskih doseljenika uznemirili su desničarske članove Netanyahuove vladajuće koalicije koji podupiru širenje židovskih naselja i u konačnici aneksiju Zapadne obale koju Palestinci žele u svojoj budućoj državi.

Washington je uveo sankcije protiv Ben-Ziona Gopsteina, osnivača i vođe desničarske skupine Lehava.

Gopstein je rekao da Lehava ima 5000 članova.

Glasnogovornik State Departmenta Matthew Miller rekao je da su članovi skupine sudjelovali u "destabilizirajućem nasilju koje pogađa Zapadnu obalu".

"Pod Gopsteinovim vodstvom, Lehava i njezini članovi bili su uključeni u nasilje ili prijetnje nasiljem protiv Palestinaca, često ciljajući osjetljiva ili nestabilna područja", poručio je Miller, upozoravajući na dodatne korake ako Izrael ne poduzme mjere za sprječavanje ekstremističkih napada u jeku eskalacije nasilja na Zapadnoj obali posljednjih dana.

Europska unija također je u petak priopćila da je dogovorila sankcije protiv Lehave i drugih skupina povezanih s nasilnim doseljenicima.

Gopstein, najistaknutija ličnost u Izraelu pod sankcijama SAD-a, bliski je suradnik ministra za nacionalnu sigurnost Itamara Ben-Gvira s kojim je i obiteljski povezan.

Ben-Gvir je, kao i Gopstein, bio učenik pokojnog Meira Kahanea, ultranacionalističkog rabina čiji je pokret Kach Washington uvrstio na popis posebno označenih globalnih terorističkih organizacija.

Ben-Gvir je u petak oštro osudio odluku SAD-a, istaknuvši da su optužbe protiv osoba kojima su uvedene sankcije plod klevete palestinskih skupina i anarhista.

SAD uveo sankcije protiv osnivača i vođe izraelske desničarske grupe, Netanyahuova vladajuća koalicija uznemirena

Sjedinjene Države u petak su uvele sankcije suradniku izraelskog krajnje desnog ministra nacionalne sigurnosti i dvama entitetima koji su skupljali novce za doseljenike na Zapadnoj obali optužene za nasilje.

Sankcije, uz one koje su već ove godine nametnute petorici doseljenika i protiv dvije nezakonite ispostave na Zapadnoj obali, najnoviji su znak rastuće frustracije SAD-a politikom izraelskog premijera Benjamina Netanyahua.

Osobama pod sankcijama zamrzava se sva imovina u SAD-u te se brani američkim državljanima da s njima posluju.

Dvije organizacije kojima su uvedene sankcije pokrenule su kampanje prikupljanja sredstava za potporu doseljenicima optuženima za nasilje protiv kojih su bile uvedene prethodne sankcije, priopćilo je američko ministarstvo financija.

Potezi Bidenove administracije protiv izraelskih doseljenika uznemirili su desničarske članove Netanyahuove vladajuće koalicije koji podupiru širenje židovskih naselja i u konačnici aneksiju Zapadne obale koju Palestinci žele u svojoj budućoj državi.
