Nakon što su biskup i tri muškarca izbodeni tijekom mise, na jugozapadu Sydneyja izbili su nemiri. Biskup Mar Mari Emmanuel napadnut je u crkvi Krista Dobrog pastira u Fairfieldu dok je držao propovijed u ponedjeljak oko 19 sati, donosi News.com.au, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Policija je uhitila napadača, no ne mogu kontrolirati kaos koji je nastao na mjestu događaja. Naime, bijesna gomila napala je policijska vozila i porušila barikade. Gužve su nastale i u bolnici Liverpool u koju su ozlijeđeni prebačeni na liječenje zbog čega je bolnica zatvorena. Svi ozlijeđeni nalaze se izvan životne opasnosti.

Na društvenim mrežama objavljena je i snimka na kojoj su vjernici i policija obuzdali napadača koji se cijelo vrijeme smiješio.

Nakon borbe s ljutitom gomilom, u kojoj je policija bila prisiljena upotrijebiti suzavac, napadač je priveden, udaljen iz crkve i odveden na nepoznato mjesto. Na mjestu napada u predgrađu Wakeleyja okupile su se stotine ljudi prosvjedujući, gađajući bocama i ciglama policijsku blokadu, što se može vidjeti i na snimkama koje kruže društvenim mrežama.

Na jednoj od snimaka čuje se kako viču "oko za oko" te kako među okupljenima dolazi do okršaja. Prozori na nekoliko automobila ispred crkve su razbijeni usred meteža, ljestvama su razbili prozor crkve, a policija je morala posegnuti za suzavcem kako bi pobjegli s područja nakon što su prosvjednici porušili barikade.

- Pozivam na smirenost, policija radi svoj posao i molim vas da im ga ne otežavate. Živimo u teškim vremenima tako da mogu razumjeti frustraciju i bijes zajednice, no kao gradonačelnik molim za mir - rekao je Frank Carbone.

Dodao je kako vjeruje da će biskup Mar Mari Emmanuel, kojeg je nepoznati napadač više puta izbo nožem, biti dobro nakon što je odveden u bolnicu.

Očevidac događaja rekao je da je biskup Mar Mari Emmanuel zadobio brojne udarce, no nije znao reći koje je oružje koristio. Snimke incidenta prikazuju desetke ljudi kako udaraju o prozore ambulantnih kola dok promatrači snimaju sukob koji izbija u pozadini, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Nakon što su biskup i tri muškarca izbodeni tijekom mise, na jugozapadu Sydneyja izbili su nemiri. Biskup Mar Mari Emmanuel napadnut je u crkvi Krista Dobrog pastira u Fairfieldu dok je držao propovijed u ponedjeljak oko 19 sati, donosi News.com.au, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Policija je uhitila napadača, no ne mogu kontrolirati kaos koji je nastao na mjestu događaja. Naime, bijesna gomila napala je policijska vozila i porušila barikade. Gužve su nastale i u bolnici Liverpool u koju su ozlijeđeni prebačeni na liječenje zbog čega je bolnica zatvorena. Svi ozlijeđeni nalaze se izvan životne opasnosti.

Na društvenim mrežama objavljena je i snimka na kojoj su vjernici i policija obuzdali napadača koji se cijelo vrijeme smiješio.

Nakon borbe s ljutitom gomilom, u kojoj je policija bila prisiljena upotrijebiti suzavac, napadač je priveden, udaljen iz crkve i odveden na nepoznato mjesto. Na mjestu napada u predgrađu Wakeleyja okupile su se stotine ljudi prosvjedujući, gađajući bocama i ciglama policijsku blokadu, što se može vidjeti i na snimkama koje kruže društvenim mrežama.

Na jednoj od snimaka čuje se kako viču "oko za oko" te kako među okupljenima dolazi do okršaja. Nakon što su biskup i tri muškarca izbodeni tijekom mise, na jugozapadu Sydneyja izbili su nemiri. Biskup Mar Mari Emmanuel napadnut je u crkvi Krista Dobrog pastira u Fairfieldu dok je držao propovijed u ponedjeljak oko 19 sati, donosi News.com.au, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Policija je uhitila napadača, no ne mogu kontrolirati kaos koji je nastao na mjestu događaja. Naime, bijesna gomila napala je policijska vozila i porušila barikade. Gužve su nastale i u bolnici Liverpool u koju su ozlijeđeni prebačeni na liječenje zbog čega je bolnica zatvorena. Svi ozlijeđeni nalaze se izvan životne opasnosti.

Na društvenim mrežama objavljena je i snimka na kojoj su vjernici i policija obuzdali napadača koji se cijelo vrijeme smiješio.

Nakon borbe s ljutitom gomilom, u kojoj je policija bila prisiljena upotrijebiti suzavac, napadač je priveden, udaljen iz crkve i odveden na nepoznato mjesto. Na mjestu napada u predgrađu Wakeleyja okupile su se stotine ljudi prosvjedujući, gađajući bocama i ciglama policijsku blokadu, što se može vidjeti i na snimkama koje kruže društvenim mrežama.

Na jednoj od snimaka čuje se kako viču "oko za oko" te kako među okupljenima dolazi do okršaja.
