Bivši predsjednik Betisa iz Seville Manuel Ruiz de Lopera preminuo je u nedjelju u 79. godini života, objavio je u priopćenju andaluzijski klub, koji je vodio gotovo dva desetljeća, od 1992. do 2010. godine.

Poznat po svojim kontroverznim potezima na čelu Zeleno-bijelih, u čiji je upravni odbor ušao 1991. prije nego što je postao glavni dioničar 1992., Lopera je također proživio jednu od najprestižnijih era u Betisu.

Tijekom njegova mandata, rivalski klub Sevilla FC osvojio je Copa del Rey 1995., bio je viceprvak 1997. i prvi put nastupio u Ligi prvaka 2005. Klub je također igrao u Europskom kupu, pobjednik kupa 1997./1998. četiri puta Kupa UEFA.

Tijekom svog predsjedničkog mandata, Lopera je također poticao obnovu Betisovog stadiona, kojem je odlučio nadjenuti svoje ime 2000. godine, sve do 2010. godine, kada je glasovanje članova preimenovano u stadion Benito Villamarín.

Pravni skandali koji su označili kraj njegovog predsjedničkog mandata ocrnili su popularnost Manuela Ruiza de Lopere.

Real Madrid je u priopćenju za javnost odao počast "jednom od povijesnih predsjednika Real Betisa", trenutno sedmog u La Ligi.

Bivši predsjednik Betisa iz Seville Manuel Ruiz de Lopera preminuo je u nedjelju u 79. godini života, objavio je u priopćenju andaluzijski klub, koji je vodio gotovo dva desetljeća, od 1992. do 2010. godine.

Poznat po svojim kontroverznim potezima na čelu Zeleno-bijelih, u čiji je upravni odbor ušao 1991. prije nego što je postao glavni dioničar 1992., Lopera je također proživio jednu od najprestižnijih era u Betisu.

Tijekom njegova mandata, rivalski klub Sevilla FC osvojio je Copa del Rey 1995., bio je viceprvak 1997. i prvi put nastupio u Ligi prvaka 2005. Klub je također igrao u Europskom kupu, pobjednik kupa 1997./1998. četiri puta Kupa UEFA.

Bivši predsjednik Betisa iz Seville Manuel Ruiz de Lopera preminuo je u nedjelju u 79. godini života, objavio je u priopćenju andaluzijski klub, koji je vodio gotovo dva desetljeća, od 1992. do 2010. godine.

Poznat po svojim kontroverznim potezima na čelu Zeleno-bijelih, u čiji je upravni odbor ušao 1991. prije nego što je postao glavni dioničar 1992., Lopera je također proživio jednu od najprestižnijih era u Betisu.

Tijekom njegova mandata, rivalski klub Sevilla FC osvojio je Copa del Rey 1995., bio je viceprvak 1997. i prvi put nastupio u Ligi prvaka 2005. Klub je također igrao u Europskom kupu, pobjednik kupa 1997./1998. četiri puta Kupa UEFA.

Tijekom svog predsjedničkog mandata, Lopera je također poticao obnovu Betisovog stadiona, kojem je odlučio nadjenuti svoje ime 2000. godine, sve do 2010. godine, kada je glasovanje članova preimenovano u stadion Benito Villamarín.

Pravni skandali koji su označili kraj njegovog predsjedničkog mandata ocrnili su popularnost Manuela Ruiza de Lopere.
