Na području Vrgorca jagode uzgaja više od 100 registriranih poljoprivrednika od kojih su samo dva ili tri malo veća, a njih petnaestak u dolini Neretve proizvede dva i pol puta više jagoda. U dolini Neretve isplatljivije je uzgajati jagode nego na vrgoračkom području gdje je tradicija uzgoja jagoda mnogo dulja, no troškovi su puno veći, a razlike u cijeni gotovo i nema. Osim toga, neretvanske jagode nešto ranije i dozrijevaju. Dakle, trendovi pokazuju da se više isplati uzgajati neretvanske jagode u odnosu na mnogo poznatije i već brendirane vrgoračke. Doduše, riječ je o malo drukčijem poslovnom konceptu, piše novac.jutarnji.hr.

Iako se radi o malim udaljenostima, drukčiji su kanali prodaje. Neretvanske jagode u najvećoj se dijelu plasiraju kroz maloprodajne lance dok vrgoračke jagode kupce pronalaze na tržnicama, voćarnicama, trgovima... Razlika je i u površinama koje se obrađuju.

Kako sada stvari stoje, na vrgoračkom području uzgoj jagoda očito će postati dodatan obiteljski posao, jer će tako neka obitelj pojačati kućni budžet, a u dolini Neretve to već sada postaje ozbiljan posao vodećih poljoprivrednika koji se nadopunjuje uzgojem ostalih kultura poput lubenice, kupusnjača i mandarina.

Milan Franić, predsjednik Udruge vrgoračke jagode, kaže da će se jagode na vrgoračkom području uzgajati i dalje. Ove će se godine, otkriva nam, na tržištu naći oko 30 posto manje vrgoračkih jagoda nego lani kada ih je proizvedeno oko 600 do 700 tona.

- Ako ove godine uberemo 400 do 450 tona jagoda, bit će dobro. Jedan od ključnih razloga je manje posađenih površina. Dosta je malih uzgajivača odustalo zbog nužnosti velikih ulaganja. Ako imate svoj plastenik, nužno vam je minimalno ulaganje od 50.000 eura po hektaru. Svaki kilogram ubrane jagode opterećen je najmanje jednim eurom koji ide za berače, tu su troškovi sadnica, folije, zaštitnih sredstava, obrade i najma zemljišta... Nužno je minimalno, bez konstrukcije, uložiti 50.000 eura. Drugi razlog za slabiji urod ove godine su visoke temperature početkom proljeća. Vegetacija je krenula ranije, što samo po sebi rezultira da jagoda ne može dati veći rod - pojašnjava Milan Franić, koji dodaje da i tih nekoliko većih uzgajivača jagoda na području Vrgorca smanjuju površine zbog problema s radnom snagom.

- Ako se situacija ne promijeni, opstat će samo oni koji uzgajaju oko 15.000 sadnica jagoda i koji, uz možda, dva- tri berača mogu obrađivati svoje plantaže. Čim se to popne na 30 do 40.000 sadnica, postaje problem jer vam treba puno više radne snage, a samim tim morate računati na ozbiljan rast troškova. Radna snaga vam treba i za sadnju, za obrađivanje, za zaštitu, čišćenje i postavljanje konstrukcije, a ne samo za berbu - pojašnjava Milan Franić.

Neretvanske jagode zrele sredinom travnja

Na području Vrgorca jagode uzgaja više od 100 registriranih poljoprivrednika od kojih su samo dva ili tri malo veća, a njih petnaestak u dolini Neretve proizvede dva i pol puta više jagoda. U dolini Neretve isplatljivije je uzgajati jagode nego na vrgoračkom području gdje je tradicija uzgoja jagoda mnogo dulja, no troškovi su puno veći, a razlike u cijeni gotovo i nema. Osim toga, neretvanske jagode nešto ranije i dozrijevaju. Dakle, trendovi pokazuju da se više isplati uzgajati neretvanske jagode u odnosu na mnogo poznatije i već brendirane vrgoračke. Doduše, riječ je o malo drukčijem poslovnom konceptu, piše novac.jutarnji.hr.

Iako se radi o malim udaljenostima, drukčiji su kanali prodaje. Neretvanske jagode u najvećoj se dijelu plasiraju kroz maloprodajne lance dok vrgoračke jagode kupce pronalaze na tržnicama, voćarnicama, trgovima... Razlika je i u površinama koje se obrađuju.

Kako sada stvari stoje, na vrgoračkom području uzgoj jagoda očito će postati dodatan obiteljski posao, jer će tako neka obitelj pojačati kućni budžet, a u dolini Neretve to već sada postaje ozbiljan posao vodećih poljoprivrednika koji se nadopunjuje uzgojem ostalih kultura poput lubenice, kupusnjača i mandarina.

Milan Franić, predsjednik Udruge vrgoračke jagode, kaže da će se jagode na vrgoračkom području uzgajati i dalje. Ove će se godine, otkriva nam, na tržištu naći oko 30 posto manje vrgoračkih jagoda nego lani kada ih je proizvedeno oko 600 do 700 tona.

- Ako ove godine uberemo 400 do 450 tona jagoda, bit će dobro. Jedan od ključnih razloga je manje posađenih površina. Dosta je malih uzgajivača odustalo zbog nužnosti velikih ulaganja. Ako imate svoj plastenik, nužno vam je minimalno ulaganje od 50.000 eura po hektaru. Svaki kilogram ubrane jagode opterećen je najmanje jednim eurom koji ide za berače, tu su troškovi sadnica, folije, zaštitnih sredstava, obrade i najma zemljišta... Nužno je minimalno, bez konstrukcije, uložiti 50.000 eura. Drugi razlog za slabiji urod ove godine su visoke temperature početkom proljeća. Vegetacija je krenula ranije, što samo po sebi rezultira da jagoda ne može dati veći rod - pojašnjava Milan Franić, koji dodaje da i tih nekoliko većih uzgajivača jagoda na području Vrgorca smanjuju površine zbog problema s radnom snagom.

- Ako se situacija ne promijeni, opstat će samo oni koji uzgajaju oko 15.000 sadnica jagoda i koji, uz možda, dva- tri berača mogu obrađivati svoje plantaže. Čim se to popne na 30 do 40.000 sadnica, postaje problem jer vam treba puno više radne snage, a samim tim morate računati na ozbiljan rast troškova. Radna snaga vam treba i za sadnju, za obrađivanje, za zaštitu, čišćenje i postavljanje konstrukcije, a ne samo za berbu - pojašnjava Milan Franić.
