Jesu li fekalije ili cvjetanje mora, od čega se to u moru ovih dana brane kupači u Uvali Lapad, pitanja su koja kruže društvenim mrežama.

- Vodovod Dubrovnik nije zaprimio prijave o mogućem onečišćenju mora u Uvali Lapad, ali je, s obzirom da nije imao zabilježenih poremećaja u sustavu javne odvodnje, po zaprimanju medijskih upita o istom poslao djelatnike da provjere situaciju na tom području. Pregledom je utvrđeno da sustav odvodnje funkcionira uredno i bez problema te da uzrok onečišćenja nije u nadležnosti Vodovoda – kaže glasnogovornik Vodovoda Dubrovnik Tihomir Matić.

Upućuje na Zavod za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije koji provodi uzorkovanja mora pa kaže kako je za pretpostaviti da će po obavljanju novih rezultata biti poznato je li došlo do onečišćenja mora na tom području i koji je mogući uzrok.

No, uzorkovanje koje Zavod obavlja po nalogu Županije obično ne počinje prije sredine svibnja. Ove godine je sezona kupanja počela nešto ranije, Dubrovnik je pun gostiju pa se od županijske uprave još čeka odgovor na pitanje kad kreću s uzorkovanjem i jesu li spremni reagirati u ovakvim situacijama, izvan sezone radi sigurnosti kupača.

Inače, kakvoća mora u Uvali Lapad 2020. godine bila je nezadovoljavajuća, no sljedeće tri godine izvrsna. Tako je, prema javno objavljenim podacima na stranicama Ministarstva gospodarstva i održivog razvoja, na svakom ispitivanju kakvoće mora, od svibnja do kraja rujna 2023. godine more bilo izvrsne kakvoće.

Ako je riječ o cvjetanju mora, to je, kako navode iz Zavoda, prirodna pojava koja se javlja pri određenim vremenskim uvjetima kao što su promjene temperature mora i većih količina oborina u proljetnom razdoblju uz povećan unos hranjivih soli dušika i fosfora koji služe kao hrana za fitoplankton. Najčešće se pojavljuje krajem lipnja i početkom srpnja. Iako izgleda vrlo neugodno za kupače, ne predstavlja opasnost za ljudsko zdravlje ako se radi o bakteriološki čistom moru. 

Republika Hrvatska jedna je od prvih zemalja Sredozemlja i zemalja potpisnica Barcelonske konvencije koja provodi sustavno i kontinuirano praćenje kakvoće mora za kupanje. Odjel za okoliš Zavoda za javno zdravstvo program ispitivanja kakvoće mora za kupanje provodi radi očuvanja i zaštite mora od onečišćenja u priobalju, a prvenstveno radi zaštite zdravlja kupača. Broj kupališta na kojima se ispituje kakvoća mora određuje se proporcionalno duljini obale u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji a cilj je obuhvatiti što veći broj plaža na kojima se kupa veći broj kupača te utvrditi izvore onečišćenja.

Jesu li fekalije ili cvjetanje mora, od čega se to u moru ovih dana brane kupači u Uvali Lapad, pitanja su koja kruže društvenim mrežama.

- Vodovod Dubrovnik nije zaprimio prijave o mogućem onečišćenju mora u Uvali Lapad, ali je, s obzirom da nije imao zabilježenih poremećaja u sustavu javne odvodnje, po zaprimanju medijskih upita o istom poslao djelatnike da provjere situaciju na tom području. Pregledom je utvrđeno da sustav odvodnje funkcionira uredno i bez problema te da uzrok onečišćenja nije u nadležnosti Vodovoda – kaže glasnogovornik Vodovoda Dubrovnik Tihomir Matić.

Upućuje na Zavod za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije koji provodi uzorkovanja mora pa kaže kako je za pretpostaviti da će po obavljanju novih rezultata biti poznato je li došlo do onečišćenja mora na tom području i koji je mogući uzrok.

No, uzorkovanje koje Zavod obavlja po nalogu Županije obično ne počinje prije sredine svibnja. Ove godine je sezona kupanja počela nešto ranije, Dubrovnik je pun gostiju pa se od županijske uprave još čeka odgovor na pitanje kad kreću s uzorkovanjem i jesu li spremni reagirati u ovakvim situacijama, izvan sezone radi sigurnosti kupača.

Inače, kakvoća mora u Uvali Lapad 2020. godine bila je nezadovoljavajuća, no sljedeće tri godine izvrsna. Tako je, prema javno objavljenim podacima na stranicama Ministarstva gospodarstva i održivog razvoja, na svakom ispitivanju kakvoće mora, od svibnja do kraja rujna 2023. godine more bilo izvrsne kakvoće.

Ako je riječ o cvjetanju mora, to je, kako navode iz Zavoda, prirodna pojava koja se javlja pri određenim vremenskim uvjetima kao što su promjene temperature mora i većih količina oborina u proljetnom razdoblju uz povećan unos hranjivih soli dušika i fosfora koji služe kao hrana za fitoplankton. Najčešće se pojavljuje krajem lipnja i početkom srpnja. Iako izgleda vrlo neugodno za kupače, ne predstavlja opasnost za ljudsko zdravlje ako se radi o bakteriološki čistom moru. 

Republika Hrvatska jedna je od prvih zemalja Sredozemlja i zemalja potpisnica Barcelonske konvencije koja provodi sustavno i kontinuirano praćenje kakvoće mora za kupanje. Odjel za okoliš Zavoda za javno zdravstvo program ispitivanja kakvoće mora za kupanje provodi radi očuvanja i zaštite mora od onečišćenja u priobalju, a prvenstveno radi zaštite zdravlja kupača. Broj kupališta na kojima se ispituje kakvoća mora određuje se proporcionalno duljini obale u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji a cilj je obuhvatiti što veći broj plaža na kojima se kupa veći broj kupača te utvrditi izvore onečišćenja.
