Više od tisuću putnika u Zračnoj luci Dublin prošli tjedan poljubilo je vrata aviona. Redovi za ukrcavanje bili su predugi zbog čega su propustili svoje letove, prenosi CNN. Kaotičnom ljetu na aerodromima svjedočimo diljem Europe i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Stručnjaci ovo opisuju kao savršenu oluju jer nakon pandemijskih mjera odjednom svi žele putovati. Upravo zbog tih mjera aerodromi i avioprijevoznici otpustili su mnogo radnika kojima ne uspijevaju pronaći zamjenu.

Zbog situacije na dablinskom aerodromu vlada je zatražila od direktora zračne luke da smisli plan za ostatak ljeta. Nesuđenim putnicima obećali su nadoknaditi troškove za propuštene letove.

Nizozemska aviokompanija KLM prestala je prodavati karte na četiri dana prošli tjedan nakon kaosa u bazi Schiphol u travnju i svibnju. Putnicima koji se ne žele gužvati u dugim redovima ponudili su opciju prebacivanja leta. Na engleskim aerodromima Manchester, Heathrow i Gatwick redovi sežu i van zgrada. Povrh svega aviokompanije, a naročito British Airways, Easyjet i Tui masovno gube prtljagu i otkazuju letove.

Problem nije samo u Europi. Američki Delta Air Lines otkazao je više od 500 letova tijekom produženog vikenda za Dan sjećanja. Najavili su da će otkazivati do sto letova dnevno tijekom ljeta kako bi smanjili smetnje. American Airlines samo u ponedjeljak otkazao je više od sto letova.

Još u travnju Christopher Elliot iz američke udruge za zaštitu potrošača predviđao je kaos koji će uslijediti na američkim i europskim aerodromima.

- Mrzim kad sam u pravu. Sve se odvija onako kako sam i mislio. Čini mi se da će biti još gore. Ovo je samo uvertira za ludo ljeto. Cijene plina i dalje su visoke, potražnja je rekordna i opterećuje cijeli sustav, a nedostaje nam pilota. Kompanije još nisu zaposlile osoblja koliko je potrebno - komentirao je za CNN.

- Glavni uzrok je osoblje. Poremećaj nije jednak u cijeloj industriji. Britanski Jet2 ima problema, no ne na razini British Airwaysa ili EasyJeta. Ni Ryanair nije toliko loš. Obrana zrakoplovnih kompanija je ta da nisu dobili dovoljno upozorenja o ponovnom početku putovanja. U tome ima istine, ali očito su se neke kompanije i aerodromi uspjeli sabrati, a neki su u potpunoj katastrofi - rekao je Rory Boland, urednik potrošačkog časopisa Which? Travel.

Dodao je da kompanije i aerodromi dovoljno osoblja neće uspjeti zaposliti ako ne poboljšaju uvjete.

- Pogledali smo plaće osoblja na check-inu na Gatwicku. Niže su nego da rade u Lidlu. To smo vidjeli i u Dublinu. Radni uvjeti na aerodromu su teški. Radi se u kasne sate, parkiranje obično nije besplatno, a motivacija je manja kad je plaća manja nego u supermarketu - objasnio je.

British Airways trenutno nudi posao pružatelja zemaljskih usluga na Heathrowu uz bonus od tisuću funti za prijavu. U opisu posla stoji da kandidati moraju biti voljni i sposobni raditi u smjenama tijekom sva 24 sata u danu, sedam dana u tjednu, 365 dana u godini, dizati teret do 32 kilograma i moći se nositi s poslom po britanskim vremenskim uvjetima. Međutim, plaća koju nude ispod je prosječne britanske plaće.

- Teško je predviđati, ali ono što znamo je da nismo još dosegli vrhunac putovanja. Kratkotrajnih rješenja za nedostatak osoblja nema. Pod ta dva uvjeta teško da će kompanije smisliti bolja rješenja od otkazivanja letova - zaključio je Boland.

Više od tisuću putnika u Zračnoj luci Dublin prošli tjedan poljubilo je vrata aviona. Redovi za ukrcavanje bili su predugi zbog čega su propustili svoje letove, prenosi CNN. Kaotičnom ljetu na aerodromima svjedočimo diljem Europe i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Stručnjaci ovo opisuju kao savršenu oluju jer nakon pandemijskih mjera odjednom svi žele putovati. Upravo zbog tih mjera aerodromi i avioprijevoznici otpustili su mnogo radnika kojima ne uspijevaju pronaći zamjenu.

Zbog situacije na dablinskom aerodromu vlada je zatražila od direktora zračne luke da smisli plan za ostatak ljeta. Nesuđenim putnicima obećali su nadoknaditi troškove za propuštene letove.

Nizozemska aviokompanija KLM prestala je prodavati karte na četiri dana prošli tjedan nakon kaosa u bazi Schiphol u travnju i svibnju. Putnicima koji se ne žele gužvati u dugim redovima ponudili su opciju prebacivanja leta. Na engleskim aerodromima Manchester, Heathrow i Gatwick redovi sežu i van zgrada. Povrh svega aviokompanije, a naročito British Airways, Easyjet i Tui masovno gube prtljagu i otkazuju letove.

Problem nije samo u Europi. Američki Delta Air Lines otkazao je više od 500 letova tijekom produženog vikenda za Dan sjećanja. Najavili su da će otkazivati do sto letova dnevno tijekom ljeta kako bi smanjili smetnje. American Airlines samo u ponedjeljak otkazao je više od sto letova.

Još u travnju Christopher Elliot iz američke udruge za zaštitu potrošača predviđao je kaos koji će uslijediti na američkim i europskim aerodromima.

- Mrzim kad sam u pravu. Sve se odvija onako kako sam i mislio. Čini mi se da će biti još gore. Ovo je samo uvertira za ludo ljeto. Cijene plina i dalje su visoke, potražnja je rekordna i opterećuje cijeli sustav, a nedostaje nam pilota. Kompanije još nisu zaposlile osoblja koliko je potrebno - komentirao je za CNN.

- Glavni uzrok je osoblje. Poremećaj nije jednak u cijeloj industriji. Britanski Jet2 ima problema, no ne na razini British Airwaysa ili EasyJeta. Ni Ryanair nije toliko loš. Obrana zrakoplovnih kompanija je ta da nisu dobili dovoljno upozorenja o ponovnom početku putovanja. U tome ima istine, ali očito su se neke kompanije i aerodromi uspjeli sabrati, a neki su u potpunoj katastrofi - rekao je Rory Boland, urednik potrošačkog časopisa Which? Travel.

Dodao je da kompanije i aerodromi dovoljno osoblja neće uspjeti zaposliti ako ne poboljšaju uvjete.

U opisu posla stoji da kandidati moraju biti voljni i sposobni raditi u smjenama tijekom sva 24 sata u danu, sedam dana u tjednu, 365 dana u godini, dizati teret do 32 kilograma i moći se nositi s poslom po britanskim vremenskim uvjetima. Međutim, plaća koju nude ispod je prosječne britanske plaće.

- Teško je predviđati, ali ono što znamo je da nismo još dosegli vrhunac putovanja. Kratkotrajnih rješenja za nedostatak osoblja nema. Pod ta dva uvjeta teško da će kompanije smisliti bolja rješenja od otkazivanja letova - zaključio je Boland.

Više od tisuću putnika u Zračnoj luci Dublin prošli tjedan poljubilo je vrata aviona. Redovi za ukrcavanje bili su predugi zbog čega su propustili svoje letove, prenosi CNN. Kaotičnom ljetu na aerodromima svjedočimo diljem Europe i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Stručnjaci ovo opisuju kao savršenu oluju jer nakon pandemijskih mjera odjednom svi žele putovati. Upravo zbog tih mjera aerodromi i avioprijevoznici otpustili su mnogo radnika kojima ne uspijevaju pronaći zamjenu.

Zbog situacije na dablinskom aerodromu vlada je zatražila od direktora zračne luke da smisli plan za ostatak ljeta. Nesuđenim putnicima obećali su nadoknaditi troškove za propuštene letove.

Nizozemska aviokompanija KLM prestala je prodavati karte na četiri dana prošli tjedan nakon kaosa u bazi Schiphol u travnju i svibnju. Putnicima koji se ne žele gužvati u dugim redovima ponudili su opciju prebacivanja leta. Na engleskim aerodromima Manchester, Heathrow i Gatwick redovi sežu i van zgrada. Povrh svega aviokompanije, a naročito British Airways, Easyjet i Tui masovno gube prtljagu i otkazuju letove.

Problem nije samo u Europi. Američki Delta Air Lines otkazao je više od 500 letova tijekom produženog vikenda za Dan sjećanja. Najavili su da će otkazivati do sto letova dnevno tijekom ljeta kako bi smanjili smetnje. American Airlines samo u ponedjeljak otkazao je više od sto letova.

Još u travnju Christopher Elliot iz američke udruge za zaštitu potrošača predviđao je kaos koji će uslijediti na američkim i europskim aerodromima.

- Mrzim kad sam u pravu. Sve se odvija onako kako sam i mislio. Čini mi se da će biti još gore. Ovo je samo uvertira za ludo ljeto. Cijene plina i dalje su visoke, potražnja je rekordna i opterećuje cijeli sustav, a nedostaje nam pilota. Kompanije još nisu zaposlile osoblja koliko je potrebno - komentirao je za CNN.

- Glavni uzrok je osoblje. Poremećaj nije jednak u cijeloj industriji. Britanski Jet2 ima problema, no ne na razini British Airwaysa ili EasyJeta. Ni Ryanair nije toliko loš. Obrana zrakoplovnih kompanija je ta da nisu dobili dovoljno upozorenja o ponovnom početku putovanja. U tome ima istine, ali očito su se neke kompanije i aerodromi uspjeli sabrati, a neki su u potpunoj katastrofi - rekao je Rory Boland, urednik potrošačkog časopisa Which? Travel.

Dodao je da kompanije i aerodromi dovoljno osoblja neće uspjeti zaposliti ako ne poboljšaju uvjete.
