Još u izbornoj noći, a pogotovo danima koji su uslijedili, mnogi su počeli zazivati ime Davora Bernardića.

Neizbježna je bila paralela između rezultata koje je on imao prije četiri godine i ovih, kada je stranku, uz mentorstvo predsjednika države Zorana Milanovića, vodi(o) Peđa Grbin. Razlika je samo u jednom mandatu, 41 naprama 42.

Izbacivanje iz stranke

Vaš projekt sa Socijaldemokratima na ovim izborima jako je loše prošao, nemate ni jedan osvojen mandat, ali ste barem doživjeli osobnu satisfakciju kada se usporede rezultati i taj jedan mandat više osvojen od strane tandema Grbin – Milanović. Kako to komentirate?

– Prije četiri godine mnoge okolnosti nam nisu išle u prilog. Imali smo protiv sebe Vladu koja je tvrdila da je pobijedila koronu, Vilija Beroša kao superheroja, milijarde kuna podijeljenih gospodarstvu i građanima, izbore u ljeto, nikad manju izlaznost, što je dosta nezgodno za ljevicu, i, naravno, predsjednika države koji je izjavio da neće izići na izbore i da će biti najbolji prijatelj Vladi, i to u trenutku kada je bio najpopularniji. Zaista smo imali sve okolnosti protiv sebe u tom trenutku.

A što se tiče ovog rezultata SDP-a, uz sav poguranac predsjednika države prema Peđi Grbinu osobno i nikada veću izlaznost, nisu uspjeli praktično napraviti ništa u odnosu prije četiri godine, što je pokazatelj da neke stvari u toj stranci duboko ne štimaju. Počelo je, naravno, s udaljavanjem više od tri tisuće ljudi iz SDP-a, među kojima i mnogih saborskih zastupnika i cijepanjem kluba, što je isključivo bila odluka Peđe Grbina i ovog rukovodstva.

Socijaldemokrati su praktično bez novca vodili kampanju. Naša kampanja se financirala u tisućama eura, donacijama naših članova, dok su mnoge stranke trošile milijune. Kao što znate, izbacivanjem pola kluba iz stranke, novac za financiranje političkih stranaka ostao je SDP-u.

Zašto Grbin još ne priznaje poraz, niti mu ostavka pada na pamet? Ista ta ekipa oko njega je to od vas tražila još u izbornoj noći.

– To najviše govori o njima i to je pitanje za njih, ne za mene.

Bi li Milanović, ukoliko ne sastavi Vladu, a sve govori da neće, trebao dati ostavku na mjesto predsjednika države? To je već od njega zatražio Tonino Picula.

– Zoran Milanović ima mandat do kraja ove godine. Da je htio dati ostavku, već bi je dao. O njemu je sada bespredmetno voditi bilo kakve razgovore.

Kolike su mu šanse za još jedan mandat na Pantovčaku?

– Ne mislim da nema šansi. Sve ovisi kako će kreirati i prezentirati svoju kampanju.

Mogući novi izbori

Koja je kombinacija najizvjesnija za sastavljanje saborske većine i Vlade?

– To je nezahvalno prognozirati. Činjenica je da je najbliži tome HDZ s DP-om, ali ne isključujem, ukoliko dođe do pretjeranog zatezanja u tim odnosima, da se ide na nove izbore.

Kakve su vaše ambicije? Je li politička karijera zaključena ili se ne predajete?

– Ja sam dugo u politici i jedan sam od onih koji zna staviti svoj ego sa strane, odnosno ne moram biti na svim listama. Iz tog razloga nisam išao ni na listu za Hrvatski sabor, niti za Europski parlament, jer sam koncentriran na izbore za Grad Zagreb, koji su za godinu dana. Zagrebu trebaju promjena i vlast koja će biti uključiva.

U životu je važno imati nit vodilju i ne možeš biti na svim listama, nositi sve izbore, biti u Bruxellesu, Saboru, biti predsjednik države i kandidat za gradonačelnika. To jednostavno ne ide. Ja sam dugo bio u Gradskoj skupštini, bio sam i njezin predsjednik, jednom i kandidat za gradonačelnika 2012. godine, ali su me zamijenili iz moje stranke. Cijeli život sam vezan uz gradsku politiku Zagreba i ovo je povratak korijenima.

Još u izbornoj noći, a pogotovo danima koji su uslijedili, mnogi su počeli zazivati ime Davora Bernardića.

Neizbježna je bila paralela između rezultata koje je on imao prije četiri godine i ovih, kada je stranku, uz mentorstvo predsjednika države Zorana Milanovića, vodi(o) Peđa Grbin. Razlika je samo u jednom mandatu, 41 naprama 42.

Izbacivanje iz stranke

Vaš projekt sa Socijaldemokratima na ovim izborima jako je loše prošao, nemate ni jedan osvojen mandat, ali ste barem doživjeli osobnu satisfakciju kada se usporede rezultati i taj jedan mandat više osvojen od strane tandema Grbin – Milanović. Kako to komentirate?

– Prije četiri godine mnoge okolnosti nam nisu išle u prilog. Imali smo protiv sebe Vladu koja je tvrdila da je pobijedila koronu, Vilija Beroša kao superheroja, milijarde kuna podijeljenih gospodarstvu i građanima, izbore u ljeto, nikad manju izlaznost, što je dosta nezgodno za ljevicu, i, naravno, predsjednika države koji je izjavio da neće izići na izbore i da će biti najbolji prijatelj Vladi, i to u trenutku kada je bio najpopularniji. Zaista smo imali sve okolnosti protiv sebe u tom trenutku.

A što se tiče ovog rezultata SDP-a, uz sav poguranac predsjednika države prema Peđi Grbinu osobno i nikada veću izlaznost, nisu uspjeli praktično napraviti ništa u odnosu prije četiri godine, što je pokazatelj da neke stvari u toj stranci duboko ne štimaju. Počelo je, naravno, s udaljavanjem više od tri tisuće ljudi iz SDP-a, među kojima i mnogih saborskih zastupnika i cijepanjem kluba, što je isključivo bila odluka Peđe Grbina i ovog rukovodstva.

Socijaldemokrati su praktično bez novca vodili kampanju. Naša kampanja se financirala u tisućama eura, donacijama naših članova, dok su mnoge stranke trošile milijune. Kao što znate, izbacivanjem pola kluba iz stranke, novac za financiranje političkih stranaka ostao je SDP-u.

Zašto Grbin još ne priznaje poraz, niti mu ostavka pada na pamet? Ista ta ekipa oko njega je to od vas tražila još u izbornoj noći.

– To najviše govori o njima i to je pitanje za njih, ne za mene.

Bi li Milanović, ukoliko ne sastavi Vladu, a sve govori da neće, trebao dati ostavku na mjesto predsjednika države? To je već od njega zatražio Tonino Picula.

– Zoran Milanović ima mandat do kraja ove godine. Da je htio dati ostavku, već bi je dao. O njemu je sada bespredmetno voditi bilo kakve razgovore.

Kolike su mu šanse za još jedan mandat na Pantovčaku?

– Ne mislim da nema šansi. Sve ovisi kako će kreirati i prezentirati svoju kampanju.

Mogući novi izbori

Koja je kombinacija najizvjesnija za sastavljanje saborske većine i Vlade?

– To je nezahvalno prognozirati. Činjenica je da je najbliži tome HDZ s DP-om, ali ne isključujem, ukoliko dođe do pretjeranog zatezanja u tim odnosima, da se ide na nove izbore.

Kakve su vaše ambicije? Je li politička karijera zaključena ili se ne predajete?

– Ja sam dugo u politici i jedan sam od onih koji zna staviti svoj ego sa strane, odnosno ne moram biti na svim listama. Iz tog razloga nisam išao ni na listu za Hrvatski sabor, niti za Europski parlament, jer sam koncentriran na izbore za Grad Zagreb, koji su za godinu dana. Zagrebu trebaju promjena i vlast koja će biti uključiva.

U životu je važno imati nit vodilju i ne možeš biti na svim listama, nositi sve izbore, biti u Bruxellesu, Saboru, biti predsjednik države i kandidat za gradonačelnika. To jednostavno ne ide. Ja sam dugo bio u Gradskoj skupštini, bio sam i njezin predsjednik, jednom i kandidat za gradonačelnika 2012. godine, ali su me zamijenili iz moje stranke. Cijeli život sam vezan uz gradsku politiku Zagreba i ovo je povratak korijenima.
