Poznato je kako je život s kućnim ljubimcem višestruko dobar za naše zdravlje, no ispostavilo se da oni na još jedan način pomažu zdravlju našeg uma. Naime, otkriveno je kako oni koji imaju ljubimca imaju manju šansu oboljeti od demencije, prenosi Vaumijau.

U istraživanju, čiji su rezultati objavljeni u časopisu JAMA Network Open, sudjelovalo je 7945 ljudi starijih od 50 godina. Otkriveno je kako su oni koji imaju nekog ljubimca imali manje izglede za gubitak pamćenja i smanjenje kognitivnih vještina od onih koji ih nemaju. Ljubimci, naime, ljudima prave društvo, pa nisu usamljeni, a usamljenost je jedan od faktora rizika za razvitak demencije.

Ljubimci im mogu dati osjećaj svrhe, posebno važan ako žive sami. Briga o životinjama, koja uključuje hranjenje, šetnju, igru, odlazak kod veterinara i slično, osobi daje niz zadataka i osjećaj važnosti, a tu je i sreća koju takva briga o voljenom stvorenju donosi. S druge strane, ljubimci nam daju bezuvjetnu ljubav i privrženost, što nam je važno, piše Pet Helpful.

Maženje s kućnim ljubimcem može potaknuti oslobađanje endorfina, što dovodi do poboljšanja raspoloženja i smanjuje osjećaja depresije i tjeskobe.

Psi mogu olakšati društvenu interakciju jer stariji ljudi mogu u šetnji razgovarati s drugom osobom koja šeće svog psa. Vlasnik mačke može započeti razgovor s nekim tko kupuje igračke ili hranu za mačke u lokalnoj trgovini za kućne ljubimce. Imati krznenog prijatelja u domu može pomoći u borbi protiv osjećaja izoliranosti i pružiti stalni izvor utjehe, ljubavi i podrške. Svi bi mogli imati koristi od toga, bez obzira na dob.

Poznato je kako je život s kućnim ljubimcem višestruko dobar za naše zdravlje, no ispostavilo se da oni na još jedan način pomažu zdravlju našeg uma. Naime, otkriveno je kako oni koji imaju ljubimca imaju manju šansu oboljeti od demencije, prenosi Vaumijau.

U istraživanju, čiji su rezultati objavljeni u časopisu JAMA Network Open, sudjelovalo je 7945 ljudi starijih od 50 godina. Otkriveno je kako su oni koji imaju nekog ljubimca imali manje izglede za gubitak pamćenja i smanjenje kognitivnih vještina od onih koji ih nemaju. Ljubimci, naime, ljudima prave društvo, pa nisu usamljeni, a usamljenost je jedan od faktora rizika za razvitak demencije.

Ljubimci im mogu dati osjećaj svrhe, posebno važan ako žive sami. Briga o životinjama, koja uključuje hranjenje, šetnju, igru, odlazak kod veterinara i slično, osobi daje niz zadataka i osjećaj važnosti, a tu je i sreća koju takva briga o voljenom stvorenju donosi. S druge strane, ljubimci nam daju bezuvjetnu ljubav i privrženost, što nam je važno, piše Pet Helpful.

Maženje s kućnim ljubimcem može potaknuti oslobađanje endorfina, što dovodi do poboljšanja raspoloženja i smanjuje osjećaja depresije i tjeskobe.

Psi mogu olakšati društvenu interakciju jer stariji ljudi mogu u šetnji razgovarati s drugom osobom koja šeće svog psa. Vlasnik mačke može započeti razgovor s nekim tko kupuje igračke ili hranu za mačke u lokalnoj trgovini za kućne ljubimce. Imati krznenog prijatelja u domu može pomoći u borbi protiv osjećaja izoliranosti i pružiti stalni izvor utjehe, ljubavi i podrške. Svi bi mogli imati koristi od toga, bez obzira na dob.

Novo istraživanje otkrilo: Kućni ljubimci smanjuju rizik od razvitka opasne bolesti

Poznato je kako je život s kućnim ljubimcem višestruko dobar za naše zdravlje, no ispostavilo se da oni na još jedan način pomažu zdravlju našeg uma. Naime, otkriveno je kako oni koji imaju ljubimca imaju manju šansu oboljeti od demencije, prenosi Vaumijau.

U istraživanju, čiji su rezultati objavljeni u časopisu JAMA Network Open, sudjelovalo je 7945 ljudi starijih od 50 godina. Otkriveno je kako su oni koji imaju nekog ljubimca imali manje izglede za gubitak pamćenja i smanjenje kognitivnih vještina od onih koji ih nemaju. Ljubimci, naime, ljudima prave društvo, pa nisu usamljeni, a usamljenost je jedan od faktora rizika za razvitak demencije.

Ljubimci im mogu dati osjećaj svrhe, posebno važan ako žive sami. Briga o životinjama, koja uključuje hranjenje, šetnju, igru, odlazak kod veterinara i slično, osobi daje niz zadataka i osjećaj važnosti, a tu je i sreća koju takva briga o voljenom stvorenju donosi. S druge strane, ljubimci nam daju bezuvjetnu ljubav i privrženost, što nam je važno, piše Pet Helpful.

Maženje s kućnim ljubimcem može potaknuti oslobađanje endorfina, što dovodi do poboljšanja raspoloženja i smanjuje osjećaja depresije i tjeskobe.

Psi mogu olakšati društvenu interakciju jer stariji ljudi mogu u šetnji razgovarati s drugom osobom koja šeće svog psa. Vlasnik mačke može započeti razgovor s nekim tko kupuje igračke ili hranu za mačke u lokalnoj trgovini za kućne ljubimce. Imati krznenog prijatelja u domu može pomoći u borbi protiv osjećaja izoliranosti i pružiti stalni izvor utjehe, ljubavi i podrške. Svi bi mogli imati koristi od toga, bez obzira na dob.
